Cognitive models,which are parsimonious descriptions of what subjects(individuals or academic communities)do to recognize objects for a given purpose,are continuously formed,relatively stable,hierarchically organized,and characterized systems of knowledge in the process of recognizing a given object.Cognitive model construction is affiliated with model construction,a process of scientific thinking that reproduces prototypic essence and features,by parsimoniously,abstracting,generalizing,and visualizing facts,in turn revealing the cognitive processes underlying the laws of the essence of cognitive objects.Constructing cognitive models,cognitive models can be used to explain chemical phenomena and reveal the essence and law of the phenomena.The improvement of the ability to construct chemical cognitive models is not an easy task,and needs to combine different learning contents in classroom teaching,propose suitable teaching strategies,and undergo long-term training to improve it.The data show that the research on teaching strategies regarding the construction of cognitive models in the field of chemical education is still in its infancy.Based on high school chemistry teaching,the author thus examines the current status and influencing factors of the high school students' cognitive model construction by conducting a theoretical study on the requirements of the learning content for the cognitive model construction,cognitive model construction,and the high school students' cognitive model construction,And empirical studies were conducted.This paper is primarily based on the need for student development to unfold research,and the main body of the paper consists of five sections:The first part mainly analyzes the boundaries of the topic,conducts a literature review of cognitive models,cognitive model construction,and identifies the contents and ideas for the research in this thesis.In the second part,we define the meaning and characteristics of the cognitive model,and analyze the characteristics of the cognitive model construction,which is the constructive learning activity based on the model,and is the repeated process of individual model formation,application,revision and elaboration.And it is proposed that cognitive model construction ability has the four elements of chemical cognitive model construction consciousness,the ability to conceive of chemical cognitive model,the ability to refine chemical cognitive model,and the ability to apply chemical cognitive model.In the third part,we explore the current status of chemical cognitive model construction among high school students and the influencing factors by means of oral language reports,interviews,tests,and questionnaires,and analyze the factors affecting the cognitive model construction of high school students according to the content analysis of the probes,focusing on exploring the effects of students' interests in learning chemistry,teaching content,teaching strategies,and teaching evaluation on the construction of cognitive models.The fourth part,in the exploration based results and the supporting theory of the subject,proposes teaching strategies to promote the construction of students' chemical cognition models,one is to reinforce the system design,two is to pay attention to the multi measures,and the third is to enhance the application evaluation.Part V summarizes the research conclusions of this paper inductively,analyzes the deficiencies of the topic and the contents of further research in the future,and looks for future research on strategies to conduct this topic research in teaching in chemistry classroom.
