| To ensure the consistency of "teaching, learning and assessment" it is essential for teachers to implement the concept of curriculum reform in the process of teaching practice and to successfully develop core literacy in practice. In this paper,we conducted a study on the consistency of "teaching, learning and assessment" in high school mathematics based on core literacy through questionnaires, classroom observation, interviews and case studies. We attempt to answer two questions:(1)what is the current situation of "teaching, learning, and assessment" consistency in high school mathematics;(2)how to achieve "teaching, learning, and assessment" consistency in high school mathematics based on core literacy. To the first question, what is the current situation of the consistency of teaching, learning and assessment in high school mathematics? In this paper,we conducted a survey on the current situation of "teaching, learning, and assessment" consistency with students in a senior high school in Chengdu. The results showed that the level of "teaching, learning and assessment" consistency in the mathematics classroom was high.In this paper, five mathematics teachers in the senior class of the school were used to analyse the consistency of "teaching, learning, and assessment" based on core literacy in their classrooms with the help of a framework of analysis. The results showed that the overall consistency of teachers’ classroom teaching, learning, and assessment was low from the perspective of core literacy in mathematics.Based on the above analysis, this paper analyzes the causes of inconsistent teaching, learning, and assessment in high school mathematics classrooms: teachers’ inaccurate positioning of teaching objectives;teachers’ own assessment literacy deficiencies;and teachers’ inconsistent teaching design.Combining the above reasons, this paper proposes and implements strategies to achieve consistency in teaching, learning, and assessment that can help implement core literacy: increasing teachers’ attention to objectives;standardizing the formulation of objectives to form clear and operable objectives;enhancing teachers’ awareness of assessment in the classroom;focusing on improving teachers’ assessment literacy in the classroom;and implementing standards-based teaching, learning, and assessment. The second question was answered. |
