All the countries in the world were pursuing education reform based curriculumstandards since1990.The curriculum standards became criterion of compiling thetextbooks, instructions and academic assessments. The alignment of textbooks,Instructions, Assessments and Standards was attention by the experts of curriculumgradually. The earliest National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) thatdemanded clearly the academic assessments must be basted on the standards wasestablished in America. In order to meet the practical needs of academic assessments,developing interrelated models of analyzing alignment was becoming an importantsubject. At present,there are several models of analyzing alignment developed mainlysuch as Webb model, SEC model and Achieve model.This paper mainly adopts quantitative and qualitative methods, in order to ensurethe reliability and authenticity of the research.First, define the core concepts of thereseach and summarize the present situation of the domestic and foreign studies byliterature analysis.Second, introduce measuring methods of the SEC models andimprove it for adapting Chinese education by literature analysis. Third, parse andencod the content of the academic assessments test and the curriculum standards bytext analysis,and investigate the content of the instructions by the questionnaires thatare designed. Fourth, arrange the above data and explore the features of the alignmentbetween the two of the instructions, the academic assessments, curriculum standards.Fifth,analy the impacts of influence the alignment combining the interviews of theteachers and the curricular experts. Based on the above, put forward suggestions andstrategies of improving curriculum implementation.
