With the deepening of China's basic education reform, the introduction of core literacy, and the introduction of the General High School Art Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition),project-based teaching has received attention from art teachers and scholars from all walks of life. The emphasis of project-based teaching on enhancing students' ability to solve practical problems by completing real projects is in line with the creation of problem situations and the advocacy of inquiry-based art learning as proposed in the curriculum standards.Through reviewing relevant literature, combined with interviews with teachers and classroom observations during the author's educational internship,I found that the research on the teaching design of high school art subjects is focused on art appreciation modules, and most of the research on project-based teaching is still focused on building theoretical models, lacking cases on how to effectively implement project-based teaching in the optional compulsory module of modern media art.The research on the teaching design of modern media art is still focused on the content of photography and animation design, and there is a lack of research on the teaching design of camera. To address this problem, this paper uses project-based teaching as a theoretical support, and takes the "camera" module in the high school art "Modern Media Art" module as an example to carry out teaching design. This paper first defines the concept of project-based teaching, summarizes the characteristics of project-based teaching and the general process of implementation, and lays the theoretical foundation of teaching design. The feasibility and application value of project-based teaching in high school art teaching design are analyzed, the students'knowledge level is understood through questionnaires, and the teaching content is analyzed in terms of curriculum standards and textbook content.Based on the process of project-based teaching, teaching design and implementation are carried out.Through the six links of project identification, planning, activity preparation, implementation planning, presentation and reporting, and evaluation and summary, students are encouraged to use online information resources and technology design to collect information, take the initiative to find problem solutions, creatively solve problems, and finally, produce unique project products. Finally, reflecting on the teaching implementation,it is suggested that the design of project themes should be based on students' experiences;build project learning communities;use interdisciplinary knowledge to carry out projects;and build the necessary learning scaffolds.
