As the core of talent training in colleges and universities,curriculum is the starting point and end point of all educational reforms.Curriculum has gradually developed into an effective way to improve the quality and level of college education and cultivate high-quality talents.The quality of the curriculum is closely related to the quality of college personnel training.Under the background of liberal arts construction,the construction of liberal arts majors in colleges and universities should inherit modern educational ideas,face the reality and the future,update the concept of curriculum system,and build high-quality liberal arts majors in line with the development of the times and their own development.Through the investigation of three local colleges and universities in J province,this paper adopts the method of literature,questionnaire survey and interview,and takes "humanistic teaching theory","student-centered curriculum theory" and "effective teaching theory" as the theoretical basis,and analyzes the three colleges and universities.This paper analyzes and studies the construction of liberal arts majors in local colleges and universities,and summarizes the problems existing in the construction of liberal arts majors in sample colleges and universities.The existing problems mainly include incomplete curriculum objectives,students lack of awareness of the curriculum;curriculum content is not updated in a timely manner,Failure to break the barriers of disciplines;unreasonable curriculum structure,less practical curriculum arrangement;traditional teaching mode of teachers,not strong innovation;uneven distribution of curriculum resources,low sharing rate;single curriculum evaluation method,imperfect assessment mechanism,etc.The main reasons are as follows: the curriculum concept ignores the development needs of students;the design of the curriculum content lacks field research;the curriculum management system is imperfect;sound.Finally,according to the problems and reasons of curriculum construction of liberal arts majors in local colleges and universities,corresponding solutions are put forward: formulate curriculum objectives according to student development and industry needs;strengthen curriculum content construction and broaden the new connotation of curriculum construction;optimize curriculum structure and rationally arrange curriculum ratios;Build an interdisciplinary teaching team and optimize the structure of the teaching team;formulate an integration mechanism for curriculum resources to achieve resource sharing;build diversified curriculum evaluation standards and improve curriculum assessment methods.
