With the improvement of living standards and multiple demands,the concept of recovery has been gradually approved and accepted by the area of psychiatric rehabilitation.The concept of recovery emphasizes that disease is only a part of an individual,and patients can "go with the disease".Peer support——one of the social support,can give play to its unique role in helping patients with mental illness recover,so that patients can accept themselves,regain self-confidence and achieve resocialization in the process of recovery.Based on the concept of recovery,this paper provided services for patients with mental illness.The method of group work was used,and the observation of patients' behavior in case work,group work and community work was included,they are main ways in this study to know the effectiveness of the peer support service model in intervening mental illness rehabilitation,and evaluate the effectiveness by the patients' improvement and satisfaction rate of this intervention.According to the results of the questionnaire,the patients' cognitive and behavioral ability has improved,the mood has become more stable,the attitude about the disease has changed,and both patients and family members were satisfied with the social work services,which shown that peer support services from the perspective of recovery could make an effect on patients.This study can obtain some local experience in the recovery of mental illness.Although there were some shortcomings,this study provided a reference for the rehabilitation of mental illness——peer support services in the recovery of patients with mental illness.For a better recovery,it was also necessary to help the patients with mental illness to get out of the current dilemma and create a more friendly rehabilitation environment for them.
