For the past few years,core literacy has always been a focused topic.On the basis of educational psychology,we are constantly looking for a physics teaching model that is suitable for students' physical and mental development which can achieve better teaching effects filled with consideration of the links between science,technology and society(STS).But in fact,we still have a large part of the daily physics teaching process to retain the customary teaching method.Through inquiry and understanding,we explored that the use of physics textbooks in the normal studying and teaching of physics is very little.Some teachers even in the classroom never ask students to read the textbooks,and students are also more likely to use physics textbooks to do their previews.So whether the teaching materials can play a role in promoting students' physics learning,the author set up a control group experiment to explore the effectiveness of the use of physics textbooks in teaching.First of all,the author sorted out the research results of physics core literacy at home and abroad through literature research,and at the same time investigated the use of physics textbooks by teachers and students.The author found the contradiction between the current teaching situation and the advocacy of curriculum standards.Then,based on the teaching material,the author has carried on the innovation of the teaching thought and the improvement of the teaching method.Through one year's teaching implement,the author compares and dissects the experimental class and the control one horizontally and vertically by using the FCI pre-and post-test.At the same time,the learning performance of the students in two control classes was observed.It is found that the students' initiative in learning physics and the thinking of constructing physics model are promoted by the guiding situational teaching way.The teaching mode with effectively uses of the physics textbooks in the teaching is more suitable for the high school student cognition development while being more effective for students to complete the self-constructed physical model step by step.
