Core literacy is the necessary character and key ability that students should have to adapt to lifelong development and social development,and the development of students’ core literacy is an important measure to implement the fundamental task of "cultivating virtue and cultivating people" education,and physics education formulates teaching objectives based on the core literacy of physics,emphasizing the importance of core literacy.The core concepts of physics are the general knowledge of the backbone of physics,and are one of the few key concepts that can integrate the content of physics,which has a promoting effect on the construction of the discipline structure and display the picture of the discipline.High school electromagnetism is an important part of high school physics,its content is complex and abstract,resulting in the implementation of core literacy in teaching is quite difficult,this paper conducts teaching research on the core concepts of high school electromagnetism,aiming to improve the effect of implementing core literacy in the electromagnetics classroom and better play the educational function of physics education.This study integrates the core literacy of physics into the teaching of core concepts of electromagnetism,and explores the effective implementation of core literacy in the teaching of core concepts of electromagnetism through teaching practice,so as to achieve the purpose of cultivating and improving students’ core literacy.In this work,the core concepts of high school electromagnetism are first identified through text analysis and questionnaires.Secondly,the core concept teaching case design is carried out,and the core literacy is integrated into the teaching of the core concept of electromagnetism by creating a situation,and it is modified and improved in teaching practice.Finally,before and after teaching practice,the core literacy level of students’ physics subjects was investigated,and the effectiveness of teaching cases was verified through comparative analysis.Through the textbook to sort out the concepts of electromagnetism,draw concept maps,compare the curriculum standards and screening standards to screen out 23 key concepts of electromagnetism,conduct questionnaire surveys on the importance of important concepts,and finally determine the core concepts of high school electromagnetism as "electric field strength","closed circuit Ohm’s law","Faraday’s electromagnetic induction law" and "magnetic induction intensity".Through the analysis of the questionnaire survey results,the core literacy level of the experimental class students increased by 0.250 level after teaching practice,indicating that the teaching of core concepts of electromagnetics has a certain effect on the development and cultivation of students’ core literacy of physics.
