"Variant" is the variant form of the prototype problem which points to the essence of knowledge."Variant teaching mode" is a teaching mode that gradually deepens students' understanding and grasp of the essential characteristics of knowledge through the iterative change of non-essential characteristics.This paper intends to carry out research in the following three aspects:(1)What is the actual situation of students learning procedural knowledge of organic chemistry at present?(2)Based on the current situation,how to construct the review course of procedural knowledge of organic chemistry under the variant teaching mode?(3)What is the effect of the review course of procedural knowledge of organic chemistry under the variant teaching mode?The research methods of this paper are literature research,questionnaire survey,interview research and case study.The conclusions are as follows:In the experimental group,the students with different academic levels have a weak grasp of the procedural knowledge of "organic synthesis and inference",and the learning obstacles and their causes of the three types of students are different.Based on the literature research and the relevant cognitive theories of psychology,this study constructs a model of "creating prototype questions","Construction of variant problems" and "laying of circular paths" are the main teaching links of the variant teaching mode.There is a significant difference in the level of procedural knowledge of organic chemistry before and after the implementation of variant teaching,which is more effective in improving the level of procedural knowledge of organic chemistry for students with medium academic level.In addition,the study found that the variant teaching mode can not only meet the learning needs of students with different academic levels,but also promote the improvement of teachers' teaching ability and proposition ability.Therefore,this study believes that the variant teaching mode points out an effective way to reduce the academic burden of students and improve the quality of teachers.
