Our new curriculum reform advocates the use of inquiry learning methods to cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability,and achieve meaningful learning.Throughout overseas and domestic research status,inquiry learning is conducive to promoting students to master basic knowledge and developing students' thinking ability.However,in practice,there is still a gap between how inquiry learning is and what it should be.The gap is mainly manifested in two aspects:(1)Emphasis on form and light on effect.Teachers equate hands-on operation,questioning and questioning,and group cooperation with inquiry learning.Spending class time in organizing activities does not enable students to truly conduct independent exploration and thinking,but the learning efficiency is reduced;(2)Emphasize presupposition and neglect process.Teachers direct students to the desired result according to presupposition,ignore the openness of the inquiry process,which limits students' exploration and innovation.With the development of education informatization,"data" has entered the vision of education researchers,and data prompts teaching from "empiricism" to "dataism".In view of the above-mentioned problems in the practice of inquiry learning,"data" may provide us with solutions.Therefore,this research attempts to construct an inquiry learning activity model based on process data and design corresponding activity strategies.First,combing the literature,summarizing the general process of inquiry learning activities and five types of process data in the activities,and describing the specific contents,characteristics,collection methods and teaching applications of procedural data in detail.Then analyzing and explaining five types of process data based on interactive data,evaluation data,work data,modality data,and survey data.The optimization of each link of the inquiry learning activities: the situational experience is true and appropriate,the theme generation is focused on the key,the problem discovery is divergent and orderly,the practice exploration is independent and efficient,the analysis and evaluation are diverse and evidenced,and the recreation of work is individual and innovative.Finally,the behavior of teachers and students during the inquiry learning process is the main line,and the procedural data is born in it and is applied to it,which drives the mastery of basic knowledge and the development of higher-order thinking abilities of students,constructing a prototype of an inquiry learning activity model based on procedural data,and forming relevant activity and strategy.According to the prototype of the model,the students in the fifth and nine classes of the first grade of Nanjing Y Middle School were used as the experimental objects,and the design-based research method was adopted,and the fourth chapter "Basics of Programming" of the "Information Technology(Required)" of the Cantonese version of the high school was designed as the teaching content.Three themed cases were designed "My Little Store","Turtle Garden" and "Organizing Chorus Competition".In the process of each round of case implementation,the effect of inquiry learning is analyzed in combination with process data,student self-evaluation,and student work evaluation,and the improvement strategies of summary activities are reflected,and the model is revised.After three rounds of iterative improvement of experiments,the final model is established.After the experiment,the experimental class students' learning results reached the expected goal,mastered the basic knowledge,and developed their thinking ability.Procedural data impels students to think for effective inquiry,presents products in class for flexible inquiry,facilitates the development of thinking for deeper inquiry.
