In 1999,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council promulgated the“Decision on deepening education reform and comprehensively promoting quality education”.This paper puts forward that we should promote quality education in an allround way and train new socialist talents to meet the needs of modernization in the 21 st century. It emphasizes that "higher education should pay attention to cultivating college students' innovation ability, practical ability and entrepreneurial spirit, and generally improve their humanistic quality and scientific quality." The implementation of quality education in Colleges and universities plays an important role in strengthening the construction of campus culture, improving students' comprehensive quality, guiding students to adapt to the society, and promoting students' growth and employment. Now,the employment of graduates has become a hot social issue. As college students who are about to leave school and get employment, they need to prepare for all aspects of knowledge and ability in the face of future career development, that is,they should have the employability. How to cultivate and improve the employability of college students has become an important issue for China's higher education.College Students' extracurricular activities are a place to explore themselves, exercise ability, cultivate sentiment and establish interpersonal relationship.College students will play an important role in improving their comprehensive quality by participating in colorful campus cultural activities, social practice activities and scientific research activities. In fact, nearly half of college students live in extracurricular activities, but can participating in these extracurricular activities really exercise their ability? How can the participation of these extracurricular activities help their employability in the future? Therefore, this paper wants to study the influence of College Students' participation in extracurricular activities on their employability. At home and abroad for college students' extracurricular activities and college students' employability research has entered a relatively mature stage, and has achieved fruitful results, but there is still a lot of research space and improvement, which is worth further discussion. This study intends to explore the influence of College Students' extracurricular activities participation on College Students' employability through empirical research. This article is through the questionnaire survey method to achieve the purpose of the study.848 valid questionnaires were collected from undergraduates. The data analysis tools are spss22.0 and amos21.0.Firstly,descriptive statistical analysis is used to investigate and analyze the degree of College Students' participation in extracurricular activities and their employability;secondly, independent sample ttest and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the differences in extracurricular activities participation and employability of college students with different gender, origin, type of University, major category, total family income and parents' education level;then, structural equation model analysis and multi group analysis are used to analyze the influence of College Students' extracurricular activities' involvement, status and social interaction on their employability, such as career choice ability, career acquisition ability, career retention ability and career development ability, and further explore whether there are differences in this effect among students with different individual backgrounds, and to test the hypothesis proposed in this study. The results show that:(1)college students' participation in different types of extracurricular activities is different;(2)college students' involvement in extracurricular activities, status and social interaction are relatively high;(3)college students' career choice ability, career acquisition ability, career retention ability and career development ability are above the middle level;(4)the degree of participation in extracurricular activities has a significant direct positive impact on all dimensions of College Students' employability;(5)the degree of social interaction in extracurricular activities has a significant direct positive impact on all dimensions of College Students' employability;(6)taking demographic characteristic variables(gender, origin,University type and major category)as moderating variables,it is found that college students' individual background plays a significant moderating role in the influence of extracurricular activity participation on employability.Based on this,it is suggested that colleges and universities should strengthen the management and guidance of extracurricular activities, enhance the role of extracurricular activities in the process of talent cultivation, and actively organize more beneficial extracurricular activities for students' career development. For college students, they should not only actively participate in extracurricular activities and make clear their career direction, but also plan their career in extracurricular activities.
