In recent years,the physique of middle school students is becoming weaker and weaker,and many problems of physical and mental health are prominent.How to play the role of both in-class and out-of-class and to further promote students' physical and mental health has become a growing concern.The class teacher is the manager of the student class and plays a very important rolein the growth and success of the students.It is a very important issue how to play the role of the class teacher in enhancing student participation in extracurricular sports activities and promoting the healthy development of students.Based on the investigation of the attitudes towards class participation of students in extracurricular sports activities by the class supervisors directly under the junior middle schools in Maoming City,Guangdong Province,this paper tries to find out the class teacher's cognition,emotion and behavior of students participating in extracurricular sports activities.Based on this,We want to promote the development of extracurricular sports activities in schools and improve their health.By using the method of literature,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and interview,this paper analyzes the results of the investigation,and draws the following conclusions:? There was no significant difference in the attitudes of pupils of different genders and ages regarding their participation in extra-curricular sports activities.? Teachers of different teaching age have significant differences in cognition of students participating in extracurricular sports activities.Class leaders with 6-10 years teaching age are most active in student participation in extracurricular sports activities.? Teachers of different grades have significant differences in the emotion of students participating in extracurricular sports activities.In contrast,class leaders in the third grade have higher recognition of students'participation in extracurricular sports activities.? The more class teacher prefers physical activity,the more active it is for students to take part in extracurricular physical activities.? The class teacher who regularly participates in physical exercise has a relatively high level of awareness of extracurricular sports activities.? There was a significant positive correlation between the three independent variables of cognition,emotion and behavior and the overall evaluation,and the behavior had the greatest impact on the overall evaluation.Finally,according to the results of the survey and analysis,combined with the actual situation in the region,put forward feasible suggestions:? Update the headteachers'concept of extracurricular sports activities and improve their understanding of students'participation in extracurricular sports activities.?Training class teacher's interest in physical activity,encourage teachers to participate more in sports.?Increase the school sports facilities investment,and create a good atmosphere for sports.? Enrich students'extracurricular sports activities and innovate extracurricular sports activities.
