Publicity is a value orientation pursued by many fields today,and has also become a value attribute pursued by modern education.Publicity is used to measure or examine the prospect presented by various aspects of educational practice.As the most basic organization of a school,class is the main place for students to study and live in school,and it has also become an important place for schools to realize the public characteristics.Class life has become the basic life form for school education to highlight the public.Under the Chinese educational background,what kind of picture does class life present?Does it have the characteristics of public nature?Based on the educational context in China,this study describes the realistic picture and current situation of class life,so as to represent the publicity,deeply explore the performance of the lack of publicity in class life,and analyze the reasons for the lack of publicity in class life,so as to provide ideas and approaches to solve the practical problems in class life.Based on the theory of public philosophy,this study defines the connotation of public character as three basic dimensions: public dialogue,public rationality and public participation.According to the general law of school education,class life is divided into class life,management life and collective life,which are described and analyzed respectively.This study to Zhunyi K and L class of X middle school as the research object classes,with three teachers and 19 students as research participants,participatory observation,semi-structured interview and informal interviews and other methods to collect data,for more than two months of fieldwork,classify the collected data,coding and analysis.This research is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background,mainly introducing the research object,research experience and the status quo of publicity of X Middle School.The second chapter analyzes the lack of publicity in class life of X middle school.Chapter three analyzes the reasons for the lack of publicity in class life of X Middle School.Based on the previous three chapters,the fourth chapter puts forward some suggestions to solve the public problems of class life.The study found that X Middle School showed the characteristics of publicity in the aspects of volunteer service activities,home-school co-education,providing public platform and class collective construction,etc.,which is a good aspect of publicity and worthy of recognition.However,there is still a lack of publicity in class life in X Middle School,which is embodied in public dialogue,public rationality and public participation.In the aspect of dialogue and communication,it presents the realistic prospect of "assertive" dialogue,and shows the lack of public dialogue in the process of participation,discussion and evaluation.In the participation of class flag,the formulation of class rules,the election of class cadres,the participation of school sports meeting,"the second classroom" achievement display activities and other collective activities,it presents a kind of passive participation under the authority of teachers,showing the lack of public participation;Private rationality plays a leading role while public rationality is insufficient in such events as teachers' occupation of school resources,public individual evaluation,topic initiation and class and group theme classes.Through analysis,the lack of publicity is affected by teachers,students,school culture and school system and other factors.Based on the above research findings and analysis,this study believes that class life should be constructed with the characteristics of publicity.Ai??g at the practical problems of education,the publicity of class life should be constructed from two aspects:one is to construct the common foundation of class life publicity;The second is the practice approach of the class teacher in constructing the public character of class life.
