Publicity is the extension of the human nature and the inherent property of the world. On one hand, the publicity is the important dimension of human existence and development since the progressive differentiation from private and public sectors during the development of human society. People’s social life and interpersonal activities deeply engraved with the mark of publicity. On the other hand, since the public problems coming out, the theoretical research on public property is always an important topic to the Chinese and western scholars. Especially the publicity shows that Man is the main body of practice and has a wide range of practical significance.By combing the previous researcher’s theory on publicity, We reach the following conclusions. Fist of all, there were serious alienation phenomenons in the capitalist society which became the realistic basis of the Marx’s publicity research. Combing Hegel’s theory on civil society along with Feuerbach’s humanism thought which were the theoretical background of his theory, Marx puts forward his own unique method of solving publicity problems. That is the way to solve the problem in the economic field on the first step, then solving the problem on political sphere, and finally reached the freedom and liberation of all mankind. Second, form the study of the famous scholars such as Gramsci, Arendt and Habermas, We have a deeper understanding on the the concept of the publicity. We believe that the publicity is a concept including economy, society, polity, and culture. It mainly showed a "self-centered" into "for his" concept of value transformation, and to guide people’s practice activity. On the economic level, Public performs a change from public to shared; on the social and cultural level, publicity is a kind of performance from alone to communion; on the political level, the public appears out a movement from known to understanding.However, since the establishment of the modern society, there are more and more social problems including people’s indifference of political life, serious corruption, increasing ecological problems. These all due to the lack of publicity.How to establish a reasonable social value and to exchange spontaneous level to conscious level become an important way to pursue the social value of publicity.By using the axiology research methods, we make a comprehensive cognition and evaluation on the social value of publicity in contrast with ego social value system. We try to prove the value of rationality and build a public social value system as well, internalizing the potential public consciousness into everyone’s public spirit. Then settle down the problems under the government’s public management and the third party’s supervision system.
