In some villages and towns in China,it is common that parents accompany their children's study,but it is rare in some other regions.This kind of regional differences arouses the author's interest in looking into.In addition,the research has limited to the causes and effects of accompany reading on accompany reading,and does not describe and present the true living conditions of the rural accompany parents in detail.Faced with the hidden facts,the author believes that it is necessary to come into the lively community,through participatory observation,show the ture state that rural parents how involve in their children's education with the limited resources and analyze the reasons why they choose this way.Based on the perspective of ecosystem theory,this study mainly to demonstrate a series of characteristics of rural parents how involve in children's education at home and school.Based on Bourdieu's capital theory,it analyzes how accompany schooling becomes the main way to rural parents get involved to their children's education.The author take the companionship community near Pingshun Middle School in Anhui Province as a field point,and conduct research through participatory observation and interview methods.The first chapter is an introduction and mainly describes the origin,meaning,structure and process of the research.The second chapter introduces the Pingshun Middle School and the accompanying community near the school in detail,mainly depicting the "low enrollment rate,high attendant rate" unusual education phenomenon.The third chapter mainly presents the current situation of parent involvement in rural areas,including in different fields of parent involvement.In family education,it is mainly described from three aspects: the characteristics of parents' labor,the experience of parents' emotion,and the styles of their parenting.Regarding the characteristics of school education involvement,mainly including the inefficient intergenerational closure between parents of the same generation,supply-based involvement,and self-elimination with educational institutions.The fourth chapter analyzes the reasons why rural families choose accompanying as a way to involve their children's education.The "tournament" type of mobility mechanism and the educational involution,the same direction of family culture and school culture,the collaboration of traditional and regional culture,as the same time the desire to get in a higher class of society of rural families and the extension of "new familyism",these are main motivations for rural parents to choose to accompany their children.In the end,as the research shows that accompanying their children during the school year is the optimal choice for rural parents to get involved in their children's education.The estrangement and alienation between rural parents and school teachers are caused by various,we can not blame only one—side.In order to change this situation,both parents and teachers should search for effective ways to increase the interaction and communication.The author tries to defy the stereotype of rural parents' education.In fact,rural parents do attach great importance to their children's education,and they keep positive and active attitude on children's development.In the vast rural areas of China,rural parents are enthusiastic about accompanying their children to study,just as upper middle class parents,this kind of educational behavior just shows that rural parents pay enough attention to education.The author support point of view that it is only focus on the class and social resources of rural parents,and have a careful observation of rural family's daily work and parenting interaction can researcher remove a label from rural parents.What's more,it is essential to understand rural parents' culture and approval the value of their home education.
