The new round of geography curriculum reform emphasizes that middle school geography teaching should focus on cultivating students' core qualities such as regional cognition,comprehensive thinking,geographic practice,and the concept of man-land coordination.Research trips,as educational activities in real situations,are adapted to the new round.Practical exploration of the teaching reform of geography courses,so applying research trips to geography classroom teaching in middle schools is an effective way to cultivate students' practical ability in geography.This article takes the Mt.Yuelu scenic spot as an example,discusses the practical application of research travel in geography teaching in middle schools,and analyzes the implementation of research travel in county-level middle schools based on questionnaire surveys.Investigation and research show that Mt.Yuelu scenic spot possesses more geographical resources.First of all,it has more natural geographical resources,such as the valley landform of Ai wan Pavilion anticline,the lake fault zone,the anticline of the tomb of the 73 rd army,the collapse of the Arctic peak,etc.,rich in geological resources;at the same time enjoys the hilly area of central Hunan "Tree species gene bank",the plant value is high;Secondly,in the Mt.Yuelu scenic spot,there are 1911 Revolutionary Martyrs,Anti-Japanese War heroes and Comrade Mao Zedong during their studies in Changsha to explore the footprints of saving the country and the people,etc.The red tourism research value is high.In addition,there is also a thousand-year-old Yuelu Academy,Lushan Temple,and a hundred years of Yunlu Palace,which are rich in cultural value;combined with the requuirements of the Ministry of Education for research travel resources,it is found that the geographical resources in the scenic area meet the regional and educational characteristics of research and development.Therefore,Mt.Yuelu scenic spot Research and study travel resources are of high value.The knowledge docking analysis of Mt.Yuelu research resources with junior and high school geography curriculum standards and geography textbooks shows that the application of Mt.Yuelu research resources to middle school geography teaching meets the requirements of the geography curriculum standards,and accurately corresponds to the knowledge points of junior and high school textbooks,and the teaching feasibility is high.Therefore,this research uses the form of field inspection in the scenic area to select and set up inspection points related to classroom knowledge,formulate multiple inspection routes,and implement research programs to enrich students' geographic representations and promote the internalization and daily life of students' geographic knowledge,Cultivate students' practical ability in geography.The results of the questionnaire survey show that there are problems in the implementation of research trips in county-level middle schools,insufficient implementation of student ability training,and the degree of promotion that needs to be further improved.In order to better promote the application of research and study travel in geography teaching in middle schools and improve the effect of research and study,this study puts forward suggestions such as focusing on township research and study promotion,clarifying the theme of research and study,strengthening the combination of research and study,and cultivating professional teachers,etc.,so as to improve the status quo of the implementation of research and study,and change Classroom teaching methods,perfecting the design of research textbooks,and closely following the curriculum standards have developed ideas for the application of research travel in middle school geography teaching.
