With the rapid development of social economy and science and technology,the new era has new requirements for the quality of citizens and personnel training,which requires us to learn advanced educational concepts,pay attention to teaching reform,improve and innovate classroom teaching,promote the transformation of student training methods,so that they have the necessary character and key ability to adapt to lifelong development and social development.Experiential teaching is an effective way to realize new curriculum reform and quality education,which helps to train students with all-round development of moral,intellectual and physical beauty and labor.From the current situation of geography teaching in my area,experiential teaching has not been paid enough attention to,facing many main objective factors,the effect of geography teaching is not ideal.Therefore,it is of great guiding value and application value to carry out the practical research of high school geography experience teaching.Based on the literature on experiential teaching at home and abroad,this paper studies the purpose and significance of high school geography experience teaching from the actual point of view of high school geography teaching,combines the theory related to experiential teaching to provide theoretical basis for this study,grasps the present situation and problems of high school geography teaching in this district through questionnaire survey and interview,summarizes the obstacles faced by the implementation of experiential teaching,discusses and summarizes some methods and strategies for implementation,such as creating a good classroom situation,To carry out group cooperative learning and activity strategy,and at the same time,to carry out high school geography experience teaching design,through teaching experiments to test the effectiveness of experiential teaching.The following conclusions were reached:1.The development of high school geography experience teaching needs a variety of methods and strategies.2.High school geography experience teaching is beneficial to mobilize students' enthusiasm for learning geography,promote the harmonious development of teacher-student relationship,promote students' emotional experience and development,and promote students' mental health development.3.High school geography experience teaching can better deal with the difficulties in teaching,improve teaching effect,improve the geographical learning achievements of high school students significantly.4.High school geography experiential teaching can narrow the gender gap between male and female students in natural geography learning achievement.Finally,this study is summarized,the shortcomings in the study are pointed out,and the future research is prospected.
