Research On Functional Learning Difficulties Of High School Mathematics Students With Disabilities

Abstract/Summary:
In basic teaching,the attention to the problem of students with mathematics learning difficulties is particularly prominent.Domestic and foreign scholars’ research on students with learning difficulties mostly involves the causes and transformation of students with learning difficulties.In recent years,the problem of students with mathematics learning difficulties has followed.Through six years of front-line teaching,I feel that most students with mathematics learning difficulties are mainly "trapped" in mathematics knowledge.Therefore,the research questions are put forward: 1.Compared with excellent students,what are the differences in the understanding and mastery of function knowledge among senior high school students with mathematical difficulties? 2.What are the differences in the application of function knowledge between high school students with mathematical difficulties and students with mathematical excellence? So as to prove the real dilemma of students with learning difficulties.Taking the students with mathematics learning difficulties in senior three of senior high school in the southern suburb of Xingping City,Shaanxi Province as the research object,this paper uses the methods of literature,test,interview and case study.Firstly,by consulting the literature,we can understand the current research status of senior high school students with mathematical difficulties;Secondly,through the methods of test questionnaire and interview,this paper makes a quantitative analysis on the understanding and mastery of function knowledge and the application of function knowledge;Finally,combined with a case study,this paper makes a more specific study on the differences of students with mathematical difficulties in the understanding and mastery of functions and the application of functions.The main results of the study were obtained:Main results:(1)The rate of the number of knowledge points of the number excellent students in the whole is 80.97%,while the rate of the number of the four parts of the function is 78.85%,85.39%,82.59% and 83.47% respectively.The differences in the understanding and mastery of functions among students with digital difficulties are as follows: the number rate of overall knowledge points of functions is 21.3%,and the number rate of knowledge points in the four parts of basic elementary function,trigonometric function,sequence and derivative are23.38%,21.55%,19.75% and 16.88% respectively.Students with digital difficulties should master the "explicit and implicit" of function knowledge,mainly "explicit knowledge".(2)The overall score rate of number excellent students was 79.59%,while the score rates in the four parts of the function were 82.51%,80.19%,77.21% and80.19% respectively.The main differences of senior high school students with mathematical difficulties in the application of function are: the overall score rate of function is 51.18%,and the score rates of basic elementary function,trigonometric function,sequence and derivative are 57.44%,55.77%,44.97% and47.22% respectively;In terms of the application level of the function,the score rates of the first,second and third levels of the excellent students were 83.73%,79.71% and 74.55% respectively,while the score rates of the number poor students were 63.58%,48.89% and 47.29% respectively.Main conclusions:(1)Compared with excellent students,the mathematical knowledge structure system of senior high school students with mathematical difficulties is incomplete:there are fewer knowledge points in the knowledge structure and fewer connections in the knowledge structure;(2)Compared with the top students,the students with mathematical difficulties in senior high school are at a low level in the mastery and application of functions.The following teaching suggestions are put forward for the research:(1)In the process of knowledge teaching,teachers make an all-round analysis of knowledge and guide students with mathematical difficulties to improve their mathematical knowledge structure system;(2)In the process of exercise teaching,teachers should guide students to deeply analyze the problems,guide students with digital difficulties to find all the knowledge points contained in the problems,and guide students with digital difficulties to strengthen the application of knowledge.
