President Xi Jinping emphasized at the teachers' symposium that the ideological and political course(IPC)is very important to the implementation of the fundamental task of strengthening morality.The reason why the IPC is vital is because its special significance.First,from the political perspective,the IPC is the core curriculum which reflects the socialist direction of running a school,and the curriculum content embodies the socialist attribute of running a school;Second,from the perspective of educating people,the IPC is to cultivate socialist builders and successors with comprehensive development of virtue,intelligence,physical conditions,mind status and community service;Third,from the moral cultivation perspective,IPC is the main method of school moral education,and itself is an important part of ideology.Hence,high school IPC is important part of basic education.Strengthening the value guidance during the high school IPC teaching process is benefit to reach the goal of strengthening morality and soul-building education.Nevertheless,due to the influence of multiple factors,the current performance of value guidance is not satisfactory in teaching practice,and effective measures are urgently needed to improve.Discrimination teaching(DT),as one of teaching methods to promote the reform of high school IPC,has a unique role in cultivating the core literacy of the discipline,promoting value guidance and implementing moral education compared with other teaching methods.The "General High School Ideological and Political Course Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition 2020 Revision)" clearly stated: “Case studies should be used to show opinions,deepen understanding of value conflicts in China,raise awareness in comparison and identification,expand their horizons in inquiry activities,and lead students to identify and firmly believe in the core values of socialism”.That is to say,if we want to highlight the significance of value guidance during teaching process,knowledge is the foundation,value guidance is the goal and discrimination is the method.Based on that,this article focuses on how to use DT to promote the realization of value guidance in high school IPC.This paper consists of four parts.Introduction,as the first part,is used to introduce the background of this research.The policy basis coupled with practical requirements are utilized to determine the content of this study firstly.And then,the research status and the research significance of current topic are analyzed based on the literature review.Finally,the technical route,analysis method,key points and innovation points of this research are clarified.The theoretical basis of the application of DT in the value guidance of high school IPC is introduced in the second part.Based on literature review,the essence of DT and the value guidance of high school IPC are determined.In addition,the relationship between discrimination teaching and the value guidance of high school IPC is clarified,namely,strengthening DT is an effective way to promote the value guidance of high school IPC,and the value guidance of high school IPC is the goal of DT.Furthermore,the application advantages of DT in the value guidance of IPC is analyzed,namely,the pertinence of differentiated theme is conducive to showing the guidance of value guidance,the speculativeness of situational content is conducive to enhancing students' initiative in participating in value exploration,discrimination process of inquiry is conducive to students experience the value judgment and value selection process.This is the logical starting point of this study.The current research status is investigated in the third part.Questionnaires,class observation,teaching practice and other ways are used to investigate the current status of the application of DT in high school IPC value guidance in ethnic minority areas-Southeasten Guizhou Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province.Based on the teaching practice experience and a detailed analysis of the collected data,its recognized that the application of discrimination teaching in high school IPC value guidance has a good development trend,but there are also some problems in the process of teaching practice.Therefore,the causes of the problems are explored from four aspects: the establishment of discrimination theme,the creation of discrimination situation,the development of discrimination process and the evaluation of discrimination activities.This is the difficulty of this article.A strategy research,which investigates the application of DT in high school IDC value guidance,is shown in the last part.Based on the aforementioned analysis,the application of DT,combined with the specific teaching case fragments is used to propose the application strategy of DT in the value guidance of high school IPC.This is the emphasis and difficult point of this article,but also the foothold of this study.This paper focuses on the application of DT in the value guidance of high school IPC.The application status is also investigated,and the proposed strategy is also operable.Therefore,it may help to promote the reform of the IPC in high school and strengthening the value guidance.
