Labor is the intrinsic activity of human beings,and it also is the provenance and method for people who remould the world and produce wealth.When people are involved in labor,they can have a good command of fundamental knowledge and teach practical experience.Education is produced by labor,and there is a close-knit link between education and labor.Labor Education has a major influence on individuall growth,the construction of school and the comprehensive national strength.Labor education is not only beneficial to students' self-understanding,self-acceptance and self-presentation,but also helps schools to cultivate students who are morally,intellectually,physically,aesthetically,and artistically.It also is helpful for the country to realize the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation.However,with the further development of reform and opening up and the transformation of labor education environment,labor education is neglected gradually by people,which leads to abundant problems in the labor awareness,labor spirit,labor ability and other aspects of primary and secondary school students.In the new era,the party and the government have made new regulations on labor education,emphasizing that labor education is the key factor in the overall development of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,it is of important historical and practical significance to develop the labor education of primary and secondary school students in the new era.As the central part of labor education,primary and secondary school students are responsible for the realization of the national rejuvenation and they have a strong sense of autonomy and social participation.It is required for us to absorb the organization characteristics of primary and secondary school students,correctly understand the connotation of labor education,innovate the development path of labor education and strive to improve the effectiveness of labor education.Therefore,we start from the Marxist view of labor,adopt the way of combining theory and practice,and aim to achieve the all-round development of primary and secondary school students through the way of "combining education and labor".In general,this thesis first discusses the concept of primary and secondary school students labor education definition and theoretical basis,including labor,labor education,labor education in the new era,labor education of primary and secondary school students;The theoretical basis includes marxist classical writers' thoughts on labor education,the labor education thoughts in Chinese traditional culture,and the inheritance and development of Chinese Communists' thoughts on labor education.On this basis,this thesis explains the main content and significance of the labor education of primary and secondary school students in the new era,as well as the relationship between labor education and "Four education".In this context,this thesis analyzed the current situation of labor education of primary and secondary school students in the new era through a questionnaire survey.It is found that some progress has been made in labor education for primary and secondary school students.There are still some problems,such as: labor education is absent in some families,school labor education is marginalized,social labor education is more utilitarian and students are indifferent to labor education.This thesis analyzes the reasons for these problems,and definitively puts forward some suggestions to resolve the problem.In other words,to establish an available way of the combination of conscience and practice in labor education of primary and secondary school students in the new age.
