This study takes the teaching experiment application of project teaching method in junior middle school Wushu classroom as the research object,and aims to explore the development path of project teaching method in junior middle school Wushu classroom and enrich the teaching mode of junior middle school Wushu classroom.In the research,the methods of literature,questionnaire,experiment and mathematical statistics are used.In the eighth grade of No.67 middle school in Urumqi,two teaching classes were selected as the experimental objects,which were divided into experimental class and control class,with 45 people in each class(20 boys and 25 girls).The main research content is the changes of students in the experimental class and the control class before and after the experiment in martial arts exercises "heroic youth",primary long boxing(the third way),learning initiative,learning interest in martial arts and communication and cooperation ability.The experimental class adopts the project teaching method,and the control class adopts the traditional teaching method.After the experiment,the data collected before and after the experiment are statistically analyzed,and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The project teaching method can help students actively combine the old and new knowledge,and improve the action quality and exercise level of students' martial arts gymnastics "heroic youth".(2)Project teaching method can promote the improvement of students' Wushu technical level.In the primary long fist(the third way)test,the exercise level and action quality of the students in the experimental class are significantly better than those in the control class.The effect of the project teaching method on improving the students' Wushu technical level is more significant than that of the traditional teaching method.(3)Project teaching method can effectively improve students' learning initiative.Students in the experimental class will learn more actively than those in the control class.The effect of project teaching method on improving students' learning initiative is more significant than that of traditional teaching method.(4)Project teaching method can effectively enhance students' interest in learning wushu.The students' interest in Learning Wushu in the experimental class is significantly higher than that in the control class.The effect of project teaching method on improving students' interest in learning wushu is more significant than that of traditional teaching method.(5)Project teaching method can effectively improve students' communication and cooperation ability.The communication and cooperation ability of students in the experimental class is significantly better than that of students in the control class.Project teaching method can better improve students' communication and cooperation ability than traditional teaching method.Suggestions:(1)teachers should reasonably arrange the teaching content and martial arts movement difficulty of each class according to the personality differences of students in the class,and provide targeted guidance to students at different levels.(2)When students make the project plan,teachers should constantly observe the progress of students completing the project plan;When students encounter difficulties in the process of exploration,teachers should give targeted opinions and help in time.(3)In the process of teaching,teachers should always observe the participation of members of each group in the group,encourage students to actively participate in the inquiry activities in the group,and actively express their opinions in the inquiry learning in the group.(4)In their spare time,teachers should constantly optimize the classroom evaluation methods and pay attention to the evaluation of students' learning process in the classroom.(5)Teachers should combine the advantages of project teaching method with the advantages of traditional teaching method,so as to better improve the effect of Wushu classroom teaching.
