College students,as builders and main force in the future society,not only need profound knowledge,noble morality,but also need strong and healthy body.However,national physical monitoring report in 2010 showed that college students' physical condition is not ideal in our country,especially the female students' physical condition is less optimistic,which causes university and society's great attention.The introduction of fitness programs with ethnic characteristics on campus,not only can stimulate students' interest in learning,cultivate the students' concept of “lifetime sports”,but also can improve students' physical levelfundamentally.Martial arts is the Chinese excellent culture heritage.Dai martial arts with a long history,is a kind of unique charming sports,which not only has its own unique martial arts cultural value,but also is good for improving the students' physical health level.It is first mission for minority martial exercise to find out how tocreate the martial lesson which can make students interested in it,be beneficial to health of body and mind,learn from traditional culture knowledge,and be easy to be taught and popularized.In this paper,the research objects are students of public physical education from Yunnan Normal University,who learn Dai martial arts from March 14 to June 28.The research methods applied in this paper are literature review method,measurement method,teaching experiment method and mathematical statistics.Through the experimental Dai martial arts training of the students for 18 weeks,combining with the “national student physical health standard”regulation test indicators,a statistical analysis is taken for the test data before and after the training.The analysis on the creation and education of Dai martial arts exercise and related issues,thus providing a reference basis for college students to choose the appropriate sports,aims to provide theoretical and empirical basis for the development of traditional minority national martial arts culture,the promotion of students physical fitness and the school sports teaching.Research results show that:1.Dai martial arts exercise is based on the martial arts basic skill,a combination with rhythm gymnastics,the Dai national minority martial arts action elements,created with ethnic characteristics of fitness martial arts exercise.There are 8 phases,and each phase has 2 eight beats.The sport amount is equal to a general broadcast gymnastics,which is performing,keeping fit,practical and interesting.Otherwise,it is easy to be learned and has good fitness effect,which is suitable for school physical education,and plays a leading exemplary role in promoting minority sports.2.In terms of body shape,through 18 weeks Dai martial arts exercise training,the body weight after training is much lighter than before training,thus resulting in a significant decline in BMI(P < 0.01).That meansthe long-term Dai martial arts exercise training is beneficial to fat reducing,keeping light posture,and has extremely significant effect on improving body shape,which can satisfy the pursuit of female college students to physical beauty,health beauty.3.In terms of body function,through 18 weeks Dai martial arts exercise training,students' lung capacity after training has a very significant increase than those before training(P < 0.01).That means the Dai martial arts exercise training has obvious increase for students in capacity index,and can effectively improve body function.4.In terms of physical quality,after 18 weeks Dai martial arts exercise training,reaction time has significantly increased(P < 0.01).Thus,long-term Dai martial arts exercise training can improve the students' speed,sensitive quality.From each quality index after experiment,the body stability has been improved significantly,whichillustrates the Dai martial arts exercise has more significant effect on improving the physical stability.5.A single sample t-test analysis is taken on both the experimental group and control group test indicators.After 18 weeks of the Dai martial arts exercise training,the indicators of experimental group and control group in eight hundred meters test,have no significant difference(P > 0.05).That means the Dai martial arts exercise has a promoting effect on losing weight,reaction time,physical stability,flexibility and other physical qualities,but has no obvious influence on physical ability.The above results shows that the Dai martial arts exercise can meet the demand of the calisthenics choreographing,and can be applied to school sports teaching content,and has obvious effect to improve the physical health of college students,effectively improve physical fitness,promote the healthy development,and also has significance on the inheritance and development of national sports.
