As one of the most important ideological achievements in the information age,computational thinking is a new concept that many scholars pay attention to at present,and it is also the focus of research in information technology education.According to the new curriculum standard of senior high school,learning and mastering computational thinking is an important link of information technology education reform.Mathematics is also an indispensable basic science in the information age.Mathematical problem solving,as a thinking activity and exploration process of mathematical problems,is an effective carrier to promote the development of computational thinking.This study aims at the training of computational thinking,takes mathematical problem solving as the breakthrough point,takes algorithm and programming module as an example,and focuses on the integration of computational thinking training and mathematical problem solving.The core problem of the research based on this concept is: how to train computational thinking based on mathematical problem solving?Based on the basic theories of computational thinking and mathematical problem solving,this study extracted,optimized and fused them,and constructed a curriculum design model of computational thinking training based on mathematical problem solving,which was optimized and improved through teaching practice.The research includes three stages: first,theoretical analysis,which analyzes the concept and connotation of computational thinking and mathematical problem solving,combs and summarizes the structural characteristics,training strategies and evaluation methods of computational thinking;Second,build the model,according to the computational thinking training of the existing research results,combined with the basic pattern and curriculum design problem driven teaching theoretical basis,from the situation analysis,goal,content,teaching organization and evaluation of five aspects,the design is based on the calculation of mathematical problem solving thinking training course design model;Thirdly,model application: The research selects a senior high school freshmen in northeast China as the research object,carries out three rounds of iterative teaching experiments,and collects and analyzes quantitative data and qualitative data in each round,so as to reflect and optimize the curriculum design model.The results show that: first,the data analysis of Bebras computational thinking test and computational thinking scale shows that students have been trained in three aspects:computational concept,computational practice and computational concept,and have made progress in problem understanding,scheme design,language expression and opinion questioning.Second,through classroom observation and after-class interview,it is found that students have a good acceptance of the course form of learning algorithm and programming with mathematical problem solving as the main line.All in all,the curriculum design model of computational thinking training based on mathematical problem solving can effectively train the computational thinking of senior high school students.
