With the rapid development of sports in China,the demand for sports professionals in society is expanding,and the physical education entrance examination is gradually becoming an important form of sports talent selection,which has brought about a great impact on physical education teaching and training in high schools.The 100m is a compulsory test in the Physical Education entrance examination and is worth a significant amount of marks.In previous studies there has been a greater focus on physical education training for high performance,mainly targeting improvements in a particular physical quality or technique to improve performance.Combination training can combine a variety of exercises to achieve more effective training results.A review of domestic and international literature shows that coaches have widely used combination training methods and have achieved good results.n order to enrich and improve the current means and methods of training for the 100 m in the physical education entrance examination,the effect of the combination of small hurdle training on 100 m performance is explored by combining a variety of jumping exercises and hurdle running exercises using small hurdle frames based on the item group theory.This study used literature,expert interviews,experiments,mathematical statistics and other research methods to randomly divide 16 male students from Zhangjiajie No.1Middle School's physical education training team into two groups of 8 students each,one group used the small bar frame running and jumping combination training and one group used the traditional 100 m auxiliary training.The participants were compared and analysed to test the effectiveness of the small bar running and jumping combination training in the actual 100 m training.Results of the study.:(1)After the experiment,there was a significant difference in the index scores of lower limb explosive strength between the two groups of students compared to the preexperimental period,but the increase in lower limb explosive strength of the students in the experimental group was better than that of the control group.(2)After the experiment,there were significant differences between the 30 m and80m scores of the two groups compared to the pre-experimental period,and the experimental group had better increases than the control group,indicating that the small hurdle running and jumping combination training can be used as a training tool for the acceleration and en route running phases of the 100 m start.(3)After the experiment,there was no significant difference in the starting reaction time and the 20 m at the end of the 100 m for the experimental group compared to the pre-experimental group,and the increase in the experimental group compared to the control group was less than the control group,indicating that there was no significant advantage of the small hurdle frame running and jumping combination training in improving performance in the starting and finishing sprint running phases.(4)After the experiment,both groups showed a clear improvement in their 100 m running performance compared to the pre-experimental period,the increase in the experimental group was greater than the control group,illustrating the small bar frame running and jumping combination training can be utilized as an auxiliary practice tool for 100m running.
