Since the 18th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has made important remarks on labor education based on the historical orientation of the new era.In March 2020,the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities,Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era,and in July of the same year,the Ministry of Education issued the Guidelines for Labor Education in Universities,Primary and Secondary Schools(Trial).In April 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the Labor curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 edition).After nearly 20 years,labor education has regained the important position of independent compulsory courses,and labor education has entered the track of high starting point development.The practical experience of these years shows that the implementation of labor education curriculum in primary and secondary schools in China has,to a certain extent,promoted the development of students' comprehensive quality,formed a cooperative education mechanism of labor education,constructed a perfect curriculum system,and also accelerated the implementation of relevant national policies.However,in the process of development,it is also faced with some difficulties such as lack of continuity and practicality of curriculum content,single curriculum evaluation and lack of practical platform.Throughout the practical experience of all countries in the world,labor education plays a pivotal role in human development.Britain is the earliest western country to put forward the concept of labor education,and also the earlier country to implement labor education and independently open compulsory courses.British primary and secondary school "design and technology" curriculum by setting the characteristics of the multiple curriculum objectives,set the continuity of course content and the diversification of curriculum implementation way,formed a relatively mature and complete curriculum mode,to promote the students' all-round development of students has played a vital role,got the common recognition of international education.Moreover,the "design and technology" course of British schools is generally consistent with the goal,content,value orientation and scientific education function,and has a certain ability.Therefore,the analysis of the "design and technology" curriculum of British primary and secondary schools can promote the implementation process of labor education curriculum and promote the development of labor education in China.In this paper,through the literature research method,To collect,sort out,summarize and analyze the relevant research literature of the British "design and technology" curriculum and the Chinese labor education curriculum in primary and secondary schools;Using historical research methods,Combing the development course of British "design and technology" curriculum and Chinese labor education curriculum in primary and secondary schools;Taking the "Design and Technology" course in Hackney,London and the labor education course in Pudong New Area in Shanghai as an example,From the curriculum objectives,curriculum content and curriculum evaluation and other six aspects of detail;Using the comparative research method,A comparative analysis of the British "design and technology" curriculum and our labor education curriculum,Considering the factors affecting the differences and similarities between the British "design and technology" curriculum and the Chinese labor education curriculum in the current primary and secondary schools,Combined with the current situation of curriculum implementation in China,Put forward the countermeasures and suggestions of setting multi-dimensional and multi-level curriculum objectives,ensuring the timeliness and continuity of curriculum content,"integrating teaching and doing" and adopting diversified curriculum evaluation,In order to better strengthen the theoretical research of labor education curriculum in China,To promote the positive development of labor education in the new era.
