In recent years,the burden of primary and secondary school teachers has attracted much attention from all walks of life,but less attention has been paid to the burden of private teachers.The List of Burden Reduction for Primary and Secondary School Teachers in Henan Province in 2021 clearly stipulates the content of burden reduction for teachers in Henan Province.Then,under the guidance of burden reduction policy,what is the current burden of private junior middle school teachers? What other problems are we facing? What are the factors that cause the above problems? And how to deal with the above problems pertinently? This study takes the teachers of S private middle school in Henan Province as the main research object.Through questionnaire,interview,and case study,this study focuses on the status survey from five dimensions of teachers' working time,workload,non-classroom work,work burden feeling and other factors affecting teachers' work burden.The survey found that under the guidance of burden reduction policy,the work burden of private junior middle school teachers increased rather than decreased.At present,the main problems existing in private junior middle school teachers' work burden are that teachers' working hours are still long,the workload is still large,they are troubled by daily non-teaching affairs,and the source of teachers' burden is increasing,older teachers have the heaviest workload.The reasons for the above problems mainly come from the following three aspects: many left-behind children in the county,the imperfect management system of private junior high schools and the deficiency of teachers' professional quality;Therefore,in order to truly reduce the work burden of private junior middle school teachers,we should create a good social education atmosphere,perfect the school management system,improve the quality of teachers themselves,so that private junior middle school teachers have a healthy body and good mental state,and constantly improve the quality and efficiency of education and teaching.
