In 2018,the Ministry of Education officially promulgated “The chemistry curriculum standard for senior high schools(2017 edition)”,which clearly suggest that the goal of senior high school chemistry teaching is to develop students' core literacy.Therefore,it is of great significance to actively carry out chemistry classroom innovation guided by core literacy.Compared with the general curriculum,mini-course has the characteristics of flexible form,short-term efficiency and convenient operation.It can achieve specific teaching objectives in a short time,can be used as an important supplement to the general subject curriculum and can be deeply developed as a unique school-based curriculum.The knowledge of organic compounds,as one of the difficult contents of chemistry in senior high school,is closely related to production and life,and is an important carrier for the implementation of mini-courses.On the basis of consulting relevant literature,this paper analyzes the research status and shortcomings of mini-course at home and abroad,defines the concept of mini-course in this study,and establishes the research objectives of design and practice of mini-course based on organic chemistry.Through the questionnaire survey of students about chemistry learning before class,it is found that the difficult problem of students in learning organic compounds is the spatial structure of organic compounds,and the interest point is the application of organic compounds.Based on this,under the guidance of discovery-cognitive theory,constructivism theory,PBL teaching strategy and other learning theories,guided by core literacy,this paper designs three organic chemistry mini-course cases named “methane spatial structure”,“organic polymer materials” and “chemicals application”,and applies them to classroom practice.After class,the teaching design and implementation effect are analyzed through the effect evaluation questionnaire,student interviews and peer interviews.The results show that the implementation of three organic chemistry mini-courses guided by core literacy has stimulated students' interest in learning chemistry and promoted them participating in the classroom.As a supplement to the content of compulsory courses,mini-courses have expanded the students' vision of subject knowledge,developed the thinking of chemistry,improved the abilitieses of scientific inquiry and cooperation and communication,and played a great role in promoting students' core literacies such as concepts of macro and micro,evidence and reasoning,inquiry and innovation,scientific attitude and social responsibility,and achieved good teaching results.This research broaden the dimensions of chemistry mini-courses and provide new reference for teachers in their teaching and research,and develop mini-course of different modules.
