STS(Science,Technology,Society)is a science used to explore the relationship between science,technology and society.In the 1960s and 1970s,STS education emerged in Western countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States.STS education reveals the application of science,technology and society in social production and life.STS education addresses the disconnect between science and technology and society.At the same time it also provides a way to solve the problem.With the continuous improvement of China's economic and technological level,the importance of education is becoming more and more important,the teaching model incorporating the STS concept came into being in this situation.In order to improve the teaching situation that the teaching mode is too simple and the students' autonomous learning ability is insufficient,this paper discusses the implementation strategy of integrating STS education into middle school physics experiment teaching,and carries out educational practice on the proposed strategy by designing practical teaching cases.In the first stage,the thesis firstly provides the theoretical basis for the application of STS education to teaching by arranging and analyzing the reference materials,and defines the related concepts of the thesis,which is the basis for the thesis research to carry out STS education in middle school physics experiment teaching.In the second stage,combined with the characteristics of middle school students' physics course learning,this study designs a questionnaire from the three dimensions of learning interest,learning ability,and anxiety level,and reports to a total of five middle schools including Qinghai Normal University Affiliated Middle School.Questionnaires were distributed to 400 students.At the same time,through the interviews with the physics teachers in these middle schools,the practical application of STS education in physics experiment teaching is known.By analyzing the survey results and interviews,the feasibility of carrying out STS education in middle school physics experiment teaching is verified,and corresponding strategies for junior and senior high school students' physics experiment learning are put forward and specific implementation plans are designed.In the third stage of educational practice,in order to verify the practical effect of STS education in middle school physics experimental teaching,two parallel classes in the first grade of the high school affiliated to Qinghai Normal University were taken as the research objects.To understand the changes in students' abilities after receiving STS education.It can be seen from the analysis results that after the implementation of the program,students' interest in learning and experimental ability have improved to a certain extent,and their anxiety level has decreased.All sample data analysis in the above process was carried out with the help of SPSS software,and all questionnaires and tests passed the reliability and validity tests.From the educational practice results in the paper,it can be concluded that the application of STS education to practical physics experiment teaching can stimulate students' interest in learning,help students consolidate their knowledge of physics,improve students' ability to solve practical problems using the knowledge they have learned,and further enhance students' social responsibility and participation.
