High school mathematics curriculum standards require that classroom teaching should implement the cultivation of core literacy.The core quality of mathematics discipline is the concentrated embodiment of the educational value of mathematics discipline.It is the correct values,necessary character and key ability gradually formed by students through mathematics learning.From this,we can see that the core literacy of mathematics has distinct disciplinary characteristics,which is gradually formed and developed through mathematics learning and its process.As an educational form of mathematics,the implementation of core literacy in teaching is to implement students' basic knowledge,basic skills,basic ideas and basic activity experience.In a sense,the implementation of the four foundations will implement the core literacy.From the four aspects of activity experience,knowledge,ability and thought,it is the embodiment of the essence of mathematics.The implementation of the cultivation of core literacy is to reveal the context of mathematical knowledge and the essence of mathematics.This study takes the "Conic" unit teaching of mathematics in senior high school as an example.Based on its essential understanding,this study makes some practice and exploration in implementing the training strategy of core literacy.According to the literature and current research on "core literacy training","mathematical essence" and "Conic teaching",this paper summarizes and refines the training strategies of core literacy: understanding knowledge as a whole and constructing knowledge system;Deeply interpret the teaching materials and understand the essence of mathematics;Pay attention to the guidance of learning methods and cultivate students' thinking;Deepen knowledge understanding with the help of technology.Based on the perspective of understanding the essence of mathematics,this paper cultivates students' core literacy and designs teaching improvement.The basic idea of teaching improvement is: take the application and principle of the optical properties of conical curve as the teaching starting point,and unify the three kinds of curves;Increase the guidance of learning methods and guide students' learning from the methodology of thinking characteristics of conic curve;From the perspective of unit teaching,integrate the construction and unify the research ideas of the three curves.The main results of this study are:(1)The unit teaching of "Conic Curve and equation" based on the understanding of mathematical essence is improved.To cultivate students' core literacy,we must implement the understanding of the essence of mathematics.In teaching,we should not only reveal what knowledge is,but also pay attention to the disclosure of "why",especially the important application value of conic,so that students can feel the necessity of learning conic.The teaching improvement mainly reveals the essence through three aspects: first,restore the historical background of the conical curve from the perspective of the development history of the conical curve.The second is to set up the optical properties of conic and its application situation,reveal the important application value of conic,experience the necessity of learning conic,and feel the geometric characteristics and properties of conic.Third,according to the definition of conic,reveal the principles of conic drawing and information technology,and construct the essential understanding of knowledge.The teaching improvement based on the understanding of the essence of mathematics can effectively promote students' in-depth understanding of the geometric characteristics and properties of conic,and help students develop their core qualities such as mathematical abstraction,intuitive imagination and mathematical operation.(2)The teaching design of three definitions of conic and their standard equations is designed to provide cases for front-line teachers.According to the arrangement and requirements of conic teaching materials,in order to implement the students' understanding of the essence of mathematics,grasp the content as a whole,unify the research ideas and paths,reveal the internal logical relationship between the three conic curves,and form a complete whole.Infiltrating the guidance of learning method and revealing the general routine of studying conic curve is conducive to grasp the learning content as a whole and understand the important ideas and important application value contained in conic curve.(3)It enriches the teaching practice research of core literacy training.Core literacy oriented classroom teaching is to meet the new requirements of curriculum reform and the new requirements of the times for talent training.Therefore,as a front-line teacher,based on the research on the essence of mathematics as an educational form,it is important not only to how to teach,but also to understand what to teach,which is more important to understand the content of mathematics,not only let students understand what it is,but also understand why,understand the context of knowledge,and understand the important ideas contained in knowledge.This study combs and summarizes the existing research from the perspective of understanding the essence of mathematics and implementing the requirements of core literacy training.Interpret the contents,requirements and knowledge presentation methods of teaching materials,excavate the important ideas and important applications of conic,adjust and improve the teaching contents,create the application situation of conic optical properties,reveal the occurrence and development process of knowledge,help students understand the essence of mathematics and promote the formation and development of core literacy.Therefore,this study helps teachers change their ideas and students learn mathematics while learning mathematics better.
