Labor education serves as an important part of all-round development education that plays an important role in cultivating high-quality "new talents of the times".In July 2020,the guidance document Guidelines for Labor Education in Colleges,Primary and Secondary Schools(Trial Implementation)issued by the Ministry of Education clearly pointed out that not only should the specialized labor education courses be established in all kinds of educational institutions at all levels,labor education should also be infiltrated into the practical teaching of various subjects.As an united subject of instrumentality and humanity,the Chinese teaching in primary school also shoulders the duty-bound mission of labor education.Studying the carrier teaching material(The version of Chinese Textbooks for Primary Schools organized and compiled by the Ministry of Education)of Chinese teaching in primary school and analyzing the content of labor education in it will play an important role in the teaching of labor education in primary school and the compilation and revision of Textbooks in the future.Therefore,this study takes the labor education as the theme,and takes the selected articles of The version of Chinese Textbooks for Primary Schools organized and compiled by the Ministry of Education as the main research object.This study can be divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the origin,purpose and significance,research methods and core concepts of the research.This study sorted out and summarized The version of Chinese Textbooks for Primary Schools organized and compiled by the Ministry of Education and the labor education content related literature to lay a foundation for subsequent analysis and research.The second part discusses the basic situation of the content of labor education in the selected text of The version of Chinese Textbooks for Primary Schools organized and compiled by the Ministry of Education.According to the division of labor education content in the Guidelines for Labor Education in Colleges,Primary and Secondary Schools(Trial Implementation),the first dimension of this study is established as daily life labor education,production labor education and service labor education.On this basis,this paper makes quantitative statistics and specific content interpretation of the selected articles related to the three themes in The version of Chinese Textbooks for Primary Schools organized and compiled by the Ministry of Education,as well as discusses the presentation of labor education content in the selected articles from explicit aspect and recessive aspect respectively.The third part discusses the characteristics of the content of labor education.It is found that the theme of labor education is rich and evenly distributed,which highlights the educational value of labor education in all aspects.The emphasis of labor education theme varies with the change of learning period,which reflects the child oriented value orientation.In addition,the content of labor education in the selected text is presented mainly in a recessive way,which corresponds to the subject attribute of Chinese.This arrangement design has not only achieved a high degree of integration,but also integrated in a skillfully way.However,the limitations in the selected text has in a way lags behind the development of the times,and it reflects a certain extent value orientation of focuses most on male workers and weakens the female workers through the obvious differences in the overall number and career choice of the labor figures of different genders shown in the selected text.The fourth part is a reflection on the compilation and teaching of labor education in the selected text.At the level of textbook compilation,the timeliness of the content of labor education in the selected articles shall be enhanced and the “gender equality and balance” of labor figures shall be paid attention to.As for the teaching level,the first tier Chinese teachers in primary school shall adopt different teaching methods according to different labor education themes;child orientation shall be adhered to strengthen the advance nature of labor education;and highlight the characteristics of Chinese subjects through the cultivation of labor values in the students.
