Research On The Career Dilemma Of Community Workers Under Social Expectation ——Take D Street Of S City As An Example

In the context of COVID-19,the community has made outstanding contributions to the epidemic prevention and control work,and community and community workers have also entered the public view.With the release of the 14 th five year plan,the state has put forward new requirements for grass-roots governance,and the community has been given more historical burdens.Accordingly,community workers face more and more affairs.When community workers face the expectations of all social parties,some community workers are difficult to respond to the expectations due to the constraints of the actual situation,so they fall into a professional dilemma.As an important member of promoting community governance,exploring the professional dilemma of community workers is of great significance to promote the community to play the role of grass-roots governance.This paper takes 16 community workers in D Street in S City as the research object,and takes the social role theory and social support network theory as theoretical support,through interviews,observation methods,and literature survey methods.The basic information,work content and work status of workers are investigated and researched.Through the statistical analysis of the survey results,the author draws the following conclusions: First,the social expectations faced by community workers have three dimensions: the state,the grass-roots government,and the community environment.Among them,the social expectations of the national dimension have less impact on community workers,while the grass-roots government and community environment have a greater impact on the occupational difficulties of community workers.Second,role dissonance is the reason why community workers form occupational difficulties under the influence of social expectations.Third,the occupational predicament of community workers under the influence of social expectations is mainly manifested in three aspects: role conflict,too many compatible roles,and the vicious circle caused by the inability to debug roles.Fourth,put forward practical suggestions and countermeasures for the problems faced by community workers: optimize and adjust the work system,establish a multi-subject social support system,and improve the welfare security and career development system for community workers.
