The Community Correction of China has already achieved such a huge progress with a near-12-year development. It now calling for some more specifically researches of details.As a high -level comprehensive talents group is required, especially the professional social workers are needed, and based on a fact that the career of social workers in community correction are just a green hand, to build a solid team of them shall started from to retain those people who experienced with this job, this paper focus on the proving of team development in this filed by figure out how their career identity like. The career identity of social workers in community correction means it is a kind of an acceptance of norms, values and psychological experiences which coming from this career by comparing their entireness evaluation to this job with their internal concepts, and it is also a psychological process of wether they will placed themself into this professional filed. Methods social works in community correction at Fuzhou of Fujian were taken out interview and questionnaire survey. Research shows that l.The career identity of social workers is still fairly low; 2. The career identity of social workers is positive related to their value identity, affection identity, capacity identity, sustainable identity and investment identity on this job;3.The low level of sense of social status and respect and low level of sustainable identity maybe the two major reasons to explain why the career identity stay low. We believed that lack of professional knowledge and role confusion leads such mentioned circumstances. The paper puts forward some suggestions on strengthen the team construction of social worker in community correction professional group:1.Clear division of function between the roles of administrators and social workers; 2.Provides continuing education to increase the professional level of social work; 3.Perfect the Social worker’s professional guarantee system to improve the stability of the high talent people.
