Revolutionary tradition is the spiritual connotation condensed by batches of advanced figures and deeds.It is the precious spiritual wealth formed by the Chinese Communist Party leading the Chinese people in the long-term revolutionary struggle.It is also an important resource for patriotism education,hard struggle education,ideal and belief education for junior high school students.Carrying out revolutionary traditional education in the teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high schools is not only conducive to inheriting and developing revolutionary traditions and connotations,enriching the content and system of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high schools,but also improving the effectiveness of teaching,enhancing students' political awareness and cultivating students political identity.Based on this,based on teaching practice,taking teachers and students as the research objects,through questionnaires and interviews,we understand the development of revolutionary traditional education in schools,and find that revolutionary traditional education is carried out in the current junior high school "morality and rule of law" teaching.Some results have been achieved,but there are still some problems such as limited emotional cognition of revolutionary traditions by some students,relatively simple teaching methods of teachers,and lack of awareness of some teachers in developing and utilizing revolutionary traditions.The reason is nothing more than the influence of students' cognitive biases and personal preferences,the constraints of teachers' knowledge,experience and professional ability,and the lack of corresponding guarantee mechanisms in schools.Therefore,in response to these problems,optimal countermeasures are put forward.First,teachers should be improved to promote the effective development of revolutionary traditional education in classroom teaching;secondly,students should be emphasized to promote the effective assimilation of revolutionary traditional education in practical teaching;Promote the orderly implementation of revolutionary traditional education.
