At present,China is in the "eighth" education reform,the most obvious change is "one syllabus and many textbooks".In this paper it is made of a comparative study of the people's Education edition and the Beijing Normal University edition,which have the longest use and the widest range of junior middle school mathematics textbooks in Shaanxi province.Equation knowledge runs through each section of students' study,so it is particularly important to choose equation as the carrier and study the two editions of textbooks.In this paper first it is used the literature survey method,comparative analysis method,from the two editions of the course difficulty,content chapter arrangement,examples and exercises and other seven aspects of a detailed comparative analysis.Through comparative analysis,we get the following aspects: The difficulty of the Beijing Normal University version is slightly lower than that of the human education version;Chapter arrangement: The total number of chapters in the Beijing Normal University edition is two more than that in the people's Education edition;Examples and exercises:Beijing Normal University version of the number of questions is lower than the human education version;Knowledge point presentation: The human Education edition emphasizes students' autonomous learning ability,while the Beijing Normal University edition emphasizes students' cooperative communication learning ability;The number of illustrations in the Beijing Normal University edition is twice that of the human education edition.History of mathematics: Beijing Normal University edition is less than the human education edition;Both editions of the application of modern educational technology involve a content.Combining the advantages and characteristics of the two editions,the two editions of teaching materials have their own strengths.In order to exert the function of the textbooks to the utmost,this paper finally puts forward relevant suggestions on the use and arrangement of the two editions of textbooks from six aspects.Teachers can also integrate the two editions of textbooks and use them flexibly to achieve the most effective learning effect.The research results of this paper are of guiding significance to the teaching activities of front-line teachers,students' learning and the research activities of teaching and research staff using the two versions of textbooks,and can provide some references for the compilation and development of textbooks in the future.
