Heroes are the backbone of a nation and the inexhaustible source of power to promote national rejuvenation and development.It is of great value to apply heroes to history class.On the one hand,the development of history can not be separated from human activities,and the teaching of heroes helps to deepen students' understanding of historical events and phenomena,and to strengthen the core qualities in history and comprehensive qualities.On the other hand,the youth are the future and hope of the motherland,to infect the students with the deeds and spirits of heroes in history teaching is conducive to the formation of correct ideological values of the students,set up the correct model idea,face the life positively,and gradually form the social custom that everybody advocates the hero,everybody strives to be the hero.Based on the analysis of previous research and textbook,this paper mainly explores the value and application of heroes in modern history of China teaching in senior high school.The full text is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction,which briefly narrates the background of the topic,the previous research results,the innovation points and research methods of this article.And the second part analyzes the concept of hero,it also discusses the value of the heroes' application in the teaching of modern history of China from two aspects.Based on the analysis of the compilation of the unified textbook and the current teaching situation of history teachers,the third part discusses the current situation of the heroes' application in the teaching of modern history of China;and also puts forward a few teaching principles.The fourth part summarizes the application of heroes in the teaching of modern history of China through teaching countermeasures and practical teaching cases.At last,the conclusion part emphasizes again the significance of the hero's application in history teaching,and reflect the shortcomings of this paper.
