Chemistry textbooks are the concretization of the curriculum standards and the main tools for teachers and students to carry out teaching activities. With the promulgation of General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards in 2018,new editions of textbooks have been published, and the study of different editions of textbooks can provide a reference for the use of textbooks."Experiment-based" is the teaching characteristic of chemistry, and the curriculum standards provide guidance for experimental teaching at different levels, which is also a direct basis for evaluating textbooks.Firstly, the selective compulsory "Principles of Chemical Reaction" was taken as the object of study, and the Curriculum Standards were analyzed from different dimensions, and the analytical framework was studied based on the provisions and guidance of the Curriculum Standards for experimental teaching, and an analytical scale was formed, and the experiments in the People's Education,Jiangsu Education and Luke editions were numbered and counted according to the scale.Second, the statistical data were analyzed from different dimensions and perspectives to draw conclusions. The study showed that the number of experiments was higher in the Jiangsu Education Edition and lower in Luke Edition, mainly because Luke Edition has fewer experiments in the non-classroom standard, and the editions were concentrated in Theme 3.The experiments in the three versions are consistent, with macroscopic identification, concept of change and model cognition being more obvious, while scientific inquiry, innovation consciousness, scientific attitude and social responsibility are less obvious, but the Luke Edition reflects the comprehensiveness and integration of core literacy in the experiments, and each theme is also consistent. The standard compulsory experiments of Luke edition have the best correlation with core literacy. From the content of the curriculum, the experiments focus on the basic principles of reaction, reflecting STSE and interdisciplinary experiments are less, and the People's Education Edition fully reflects the STSE concept in the standard experiments. From the textbook writing suggestions, the textbook focused on qualitative experiments, fewer quantitative experiments and digital experiments, and mini-experiments and small home experiments were not reflected.
