China's middle school physics curriculum standard indicates that students should Sunderstand the importance of experimental design in experiments.In 2017,experimental design ability was divided into different levels in the high school physics curriculum standards.Many studies on the development and evaluation of experimental design ability show that students' experimental design ability level is not high or even low.By analyzing the literature on experimental design ability,we found that although many people study experimental design ability,the structural elements of experimental design ability they propose are different.Although the high school physics curriculum standards put forward general requirements on the cultivation and evaluation of experimental design ability,it does not give specific elements of experimental design ability.Knowing the structural elements of experimental design ability is the precondition for cultivating and evaluating students' experimental design ability efficiently and pertinently.Based on the above analysis,to provide a reference for high school physics teachers and related researchers,this study selected high school students as the research objects and established a frame of the ability of physics experiment design for senior high school students.This research is divided into two parts,the first part is the construction of high school physics experiment design ability framework,and the second part is the application of the framework.Part I:(1)Based on grounded theory,the ability frame of senior high school students to design physics experiments is constructed.The academic papers in the study were selected from the databases of "CNKI","Wiley Blackwell" and "Taylor ? Francis".Books related to physics,physics teaching,and physics experiments are retrieved online from the "National Library of China" and physical books are obtained from other offline libraries.After obtaining the text data,we first conduct research and analysis on it,then extract the information about the experimental design ability,and finally construct the initial version of the "High School Physics Experiment Design Competency Framework" through secondary coding;(2)The high school physics experimental design capability framework has been improved by the Delphi method.The framework includes six first-level dimensions and 19 second-level dimensions and the meanings of the second-level dimensions;(3)This study uses the AHP method to establish the weights for each dimension of the framework and formulates the scoring standards and scoring methods for using the framework.Part II:(1)Based on the framework,this study created the "High School Physics Experiment Design Ability Scale." The scale was used to test 440 high school sophomores,of which 380 valid scales were recovered.After obtaining the data,we used SPSS19.0 and AMOS24.0 to test the reliability and validity of the scale.Regarding the scale's construct validity,firstly,SPSS19.0 was used for exploratory factor analysis,and then AMOS24.0 was used for confirmatory factor analysis.After testing and revision,we finally developed a "High School Physics Experiment Design Ability Scale" with good reliability and validity;(2)We developed a case of "High School Physics Experiment Design Sheet" that can be used in classroom teaching.According to the framework,we cooperated with middle school teachers with the actual teaching content to develop the "Experimental Design Sheet for Exploring the Relationship between Acceleration,Force and Quality" and applied it to actual classroom teaching.This research constructs a systematic and comprehensive "High School Physics Experiment Design Competency Framework" and develops a "High School Physics Experiment Design Competency Scale," which can not only provide a precise reference for teachers and researchers.On the other hand,the results of this study enrich the relevant theories and play a role in promoting the development of primary education.
