The rapid development of information technology has had a huge impact on education and teaching, and teaching tools are also constantly developing and changing, promoting profound changes and innovations in teaching methods.Among them, various teaching aids based on computers, such as ppt courseware, demonstration animation, teaching video and so on,have been widely used in primary and secondary schools, enriching the visibility of teaching.Since virtual simulation technology can use computers to build intuitive and visual teaching scenarios, and has the characteristics of immersion and interactivity,it has also been gradually introduced into classroom teaching, and research shows that virtual simulation software has a positive impact on teaching. In order to explore the application of virtual simulation software in physics teaching, this paper analyzes the feasibility of virtual simulation used in physics teaching through literature review and investigation of physics learning of freshmen in senior high school, combined with relevant educational theories. It is found that the use of virtual simulation software can build a more intuitive and dynamic visualization of physical scenarios, which can help students understand abstract physical problems and cultivate students ' core literacy ability. The abstract thinking of senior one students is in the developing stage, and there are some difficulties in the construction of abstract physical scenarios.According to the actual situation of students, the author selects Algodoo software as a view tool, and uses the method of teaching experiment to carry out empirical research on the motion image of high school physics, the problem of encountering and chasing in uniform variable speed linear motion, the problem of board slider in Newton ' s second law,and the flat throwing motion,to explore the influence of virtual simulation to build visual physical scenarios on students ' academic performance and problem solving ability.According to the application characteristics of virtual simulation software in physics teaching, the applicability, advantages and disadvantages of commonly used simulation software are analyzed, and the matters needing attention in the design, implementation and evaluation steps of using simulation software to assist physics teaching are summarized, and the principles of scientific nature and student subjectivity should be followed in the teaching process. In the teaching practice, two parallel classes are set as the control class and the experimental class. The experimental class uses the virtual simulation software to build a visual physical scene, and the control class is taught routinely. After the teaching experiment,SPSS was used to analyze the data of the scores of the two classes, and it was found that the scores of the experimental class were significantly different from those of the control class.Through the analysis of students ' problem-solving ability through questionnaires,it is found that six of the seven representations in the experimental class are higher than those in the control class.Practice shows that the use of virtual simulation software to build visual physical scenarios can improve students ' academic performance, have a positive impact on students ' problem solving ability, can activate the classroom atmosphere, improve their participation in the classroom. This paper can not only provide new means for high school physics teaching, but also provide students with new learning methods. It can also provide new ideas for the integration of high school physics teaching and information technology.
