Experimental teaching has long been recognized as an important part in teaching. However, due to the restrictions of inadequate laboratory and lack of experimental equipment, it is the vulnerable part of our teaching. The emergence of computer simulation technology provides a new way of experimental teaching. The experimental teaching application software developed using computer simulation technology has many advantages, such as true environment simulation, good interaction, helping students to practice repeatedly. It becomes the good assistant to teachers and students quickly, thus widely used in experimental teaching at all levels.Analysis shows that the virtual educational software has a good application and develops faster in developed countries. Although there are many colleges and universities involved in the design and development, most of them develop the software base on specific advantages of disciplines, which are seldom used outside. Some companies develop their educational software, but they also have shortcomings such as no strong subject pertinence or too detailed classification. In addition, we lack the specific educational software for junior school physics experiment. So the main purpose of this paper is to develop a virtual experiment platform for junior school physics experimental mainly in mechanical and electrical.The major work of this dissertation includes:(1) Design of virtual instrument class library on analysing of high school physics laboratory equipment, rational abstract for experimental apparatus, based on the idea of instrument design and object-oriented programming.(2) Through combing the steps of physical experiment, combined with the characteristics of computer software operation, this paper designs intelligence and selection strategy to solve the virtual instrument select and experimental combination operational problems.(3) The design of algorithm for analog circuit based on Kirchhoff’s Theorem by studing of circuit of junior high school.(4) The design of interaction module insists the principle of improving the user experience, the users can implement complex operations with simple operations. (5) Achieving the features of keep and reproduce to meet the teaching needs on xml-based technology.The features of this platform include:focused on improving the user experience in design, the software has the characteristics of good interaction and simple interface; focused on Physics of Junior High School in contents; high performance algorithm of circuit simulation based on Kirchhoff s Theorem. This work lays the theoretical foundation for the developing of virtual high school physics teaching software.
