In recent years,with the deepening of China’s basic education reform,people pay more and more attention to extra-curricular reading.Extra-curricular reading is a supplement and extension in class and an important way for students to carry out language practice activities.Under the background of double reduction,teachers need to reduce students’ mechanical homework burden,so that children can have more time to acquire knowledge from extra-curricular reading and improve their Chinese learning ability.In addition,the cognitive development of primary school students is not yet mature.As two important reading places for children,family and school should play a positive role in reading guidance and help students develop good reading habits.This paper takes S Primary School in Z City as an example.After collecting and analyzing relevant literature at home and abroad,the author uses questionnaire survey and interview method to comprehensively and objectively understand the status quo of extracurricular reading of senior primary school students under home-school cooperation,and tries to discuss the strategies of extracurricular reading guidance for senior primary school students from the perspective of home-school cooperation.The paper is divided into six parts,including introduction,theoretical basis,investigation and design,analysis of current situation,analysis of current problems and causes,and strategy.The first introduction explains the reason of the topic selection and the purpose and value of the research,sorts out the current research status of "home-school cooperation" and "extra-curricular reading",and determines the research ideas and methods.The second part elaborates the theoretical basis of the research and defines the related concepts.The third part mainly introduces questionnaire survey and interview design;The fourth part through the students,parents and teachers questionnaire and teacher interview results,sort out the current situation of senior primary school students extracurricular reading;The fifth part through the statistical analysis of the results of the survey,found that there are problems in the current situation of extracurricular reading of senior primary school students,and analyzed the causes of the problems;The sixth part puts forward the strategies to improve the current situation of extracurricular reading in senior primary schools from the following five aspects: "pleasure reading" interest,"guidance" training,"reading together" fun,"reading with" environment,"happy reading" effect.Strategies include: teachers should stimulate students’ interest in reading through understanding students’ reading needs and creating reading communication platform;Teachers should guide students to read effectively by improving their personal quality and optimizing reading guidance methods.Teachers and parents need to change the concept of cooperation,through parent-child reading and teachers and students reading together to experience the fun of reading;Both families and schools should enrich reading resources to create an environment where children can read books anytime and anywhere;Finally,we should improve the evaluation mechanism of reading and put the effect of reading into place.
