Endless life brings about human inheritance! Applying life stories written by human beings into the care of the subsequent life process is the positive function of history education to sublimate historical knowledge into educational resources,absorb life wisdom,improve life conditions,shape a healthy society,and provide choices of sustainable development and progress to people.Education,a social practice of cultivating people,plays a fundamental role in the physical and mental development of teenagers,the improvement of national quality,and even the social and economic development.Facing the severe challenges caused by the deteriorating environment of human survival and development,we find that the study of life education and its integration and penetration in subject teaching has increasingly become a significant research topic,which today's school education should pay attention to.This thesis,following the idea of “theoretical review,current situation investigation,material mining,case teaching and reflection after class”,makes a theoretical research and practical exploration on the integration of life education into high school history teaching,based on the COVID-19 situations and the World Health Organization's continuous attention to life and health,the urgency of cultivating middle school students' awareness of life and health,and the teaching requirements of achieving the core literacy goal of history in high schools.Firstly,it defines the connotation and denotation of the concept of life and life education and summarizes the research on life education,life education curriculum and teaching at home and abroad.It also,from the perspective of paying heed to the commonness of life education via Chinese and Western histories and the practicability of integrating life education into history teaching in high schools,based on the review of discipline teaching research,utilizing the theoretical viewpoints of life philosophy,death philosophy and the studies of life and death and linking with the relevant chapters and contents of high school history textbooks,analyzes the relationship between history discipline and life education and clarifies the necessity and feasibility of integrating life education into history teaching in high schools,according to the physical and mental development and learning traits of senior high school students.Secondly,the thesis took students of three grades from six middle schools in the urban-rural fringe of Zhangzhou City as subjects and investigated the current situations of implementing life education in history teaching in high schools,using a questionnaire and an interview outline designed in accordance with the teaching features of high school history teaching.After the testing of reliability and validity,the study drew the basic results and analyzed the reasons for the problem from two aspects: teachers and students.Then,based on the teaching reality of few life education topics in history textbooks,this paper put forward four basic principles of integrating life education into history teaching: life and practice,experience and understanding,subjectivity and transcendence,as well as six constructional strategies to improve the integration of life education into history teaching in high school.Thirdly,the author tries to dig out life education materials in high school history teaching from four aspects: natural conditions,natural and man-made disasters,social progress,and cultural pursuit.She has designed,based on the teaching internship and professional practice,four teaching cases from the aspects of curriculum design and teaching objectives,learning situation analysis and teaching focus,theme selection and teaching process.Under the guidance of tutors and history teachers of internship schools,she has carried out the practice of integrating life education into the history teaching in high schools.Lastly,it is suggested that teachers offer vibrant classes,through finding multi-dimensional teaching materials,supplementing historical materials and connecting with reality,and,with the aim to help students understand life and embrace life,summarize teaching experience and reflect after class on the lesson preparation and teaching process of integrating life education into history teaching in high schools,so as to provide references for the research and practice of history education and teaching.
