Experimental Study On The Teaching Reform Of "Technical Combat Scenario" In High School Martial Arts Class

Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education to promote traditional culture into the campus and the "Physical Health Curriculum Standards",more and more high schools carry out modular teaching in physical education.Martial arts is a traditional Chinese sports.Starting the martial arts module course in high school is in line with the policy and at the same time,it is the characteristics of the schools.However,the current martial arts courses have not allowed students to feel the charm of martial arts.On the contrary,the current action-based teaching content not only did not make more students like martial arts,but led to a decrease in the number of students who choose the course year by year.In teaching,more attention should be paid to the characteristics of martial arts,i.e.combat,so that students can understand the essence of martial arts movements and practice and feel the impact of different movements on the body.The author carried out an experiment which allows students to practice martial arts combat techniques and experience the challenges brought by different movements.This paper takes the students of the first and second martial arts module classes in Chengdu No.7 High School(High-tech Campus)as the experimental object for the comparative experiment.Actual combat confrontation is carried out in the experimental class while the traditional action-based teaching is carried out in the control class.Teaching experiment,questionnaire,interview and action research are emplied to investigate the reasons for students choosing the course,their knowledge of martial arts,recognition of teaching content,liking of teaching modelsas well as their classroom performance etc.And the following conclusions are drawn from the summary of experimental research:(1)89.47% of the students in the experimental class said that they have better learned and understood martial arts,while only 22.74% of the students in the control class said so.(2)78.94% of the students in the experimental class liked the actual combat confrontation-based teaching,and only 31.82% of the students in the control class liked the traditional action-based teaching.(3)The re-selection rate of the experimental class reached 57.89%,while the re-selection rate of the control class was only 27.27%.The following conclusions are drawn from the results:(1)The actual combat confrontation-based teaching can help students better learn and understand martial arts more than the traditional action-based teaching.(2)The actual combat confrontation-based teaching is more popular than the traditional action-based teaching mode.(3)The actual combat confrontation-based teaching can attract more students to repeatedly choose the course,which has a restraining effect on the decrease in the number of students choosing the martial arts courses.On the contrary,the traditional action-based teaching mode is less atractive and has no such restraining effect.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the following suggestions to better carry out the teaching content based on actual combat confrontation-based teaching:(1)Schools should do a better job in material support to purchase enough protective gear,and reduce the time for exchanging protective gear in class.(2)The teaching and research group should strengthen the training of the actual combat ability of martial arts teachers,and the lesson preparation team should strengthen the collective lesson preparation and study how to better carry out the actual combat confrontation-based teaching based on learning reality.(3)For martial arts teachers,it is recommended that before each round of course selection,try to inform the students the teaching content of martial arts class in this semester or school year,so that students know in advance what and how will the martial arts class carried out and choose courses wisely.More importantly,martial arts teachers themselves should improve their practical combat confrontation ability.During the course,martial arts teachers need to focus on students with poor physical fitness and less courage and to encourage them and communicate with them to increase their interest and confidence in martial arts learning.
