The general High school Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017 edition,2020 revision)emphasizes that mathematics teaching should develop students' mathematics core literacy and focus on holistic teaching.The learning of unit "Unary quadratic Functions,Unary Quadratic Equations,and Unary Quadratic Inequalities" can promote the development of students' psychology and cognition,but the fragmented learning of unit "Unary quadratic Functions,Unary Quadratic Equations,and Unary Quadratic Inequalities" ignores the integrity of knowledge and is not conducive to the formation of students' core literacy in mathematics.Unit teaching as a whole plays a leading role in knowledge,and emphasizes the integrity of knowledge by taking the background,thinking and framework of knowledge as the research background.Unit integral teaching can integrate mathematics core literacy into the whole teaching,emphasize knowledge integrity and promote the development of students'mathematics core literacy.Under the guidance of the curriculum standard,this study adopts the whole teaching unit to carry out an empirical study on students' learning of "Unary quadratic Functions,Unary Quadratic Equations,and Unary Quadratic Inequalities" with one variable.Through the preparation of student questionnaires,teacher interviews,learning content test papers,and qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results,it is found that:1.Ordinary senior high school students lack the awareness of unit learning as a whole,but they have a positive attitude towards unit teaching as a whole.2.Ordinary senior high school mathematics teachers have a certain understanding of unit integral teaching but have not actually implemented it,and believe that unit integral teaching is scientific and operational.3.From the perspective of unit teaching as a whole,the study of "Unary quadratic Functions,Unary Quadratic Equations,and Unary Quadratic Inequalities"is significant in promoting the development of students' core literacy of intuitive imagination.Finally,based on the teaching practice of"Unary quadratic Functions,Unary Quadratic Equations,and Unary Quadratic Inequalities",this paper puts forward some suggestions.
