In the background of the new curriculum reform, according to the new requirements andsuggestions on mathematical education of the ordinary high school mathematics new curriculumstandard, combining with teaching practice and effect of existing learners’ learning, based on thetheory of effective teaching, to explore the effective teaching design. High school mathematicsteaching material of Beijing Normal University Press (Beijing Normal University Version) for thescript, to study the high school effective teaching design of one-variable quadratic inequality.This article’s methods include literature analysis, questionnaire and interview. The existingresearch and theory of effective teaching, the correlation research result of mathematics teachingdesign and mathematical efficient teaching design, the current study of teaching design of one-variablequadratic inequality are being analysed. The effect of learning and master degree of understanding,solution and application of one-variable quadratic inequality are being surveyed through self-madequestionnaire. Besides, the common errors of learner in the solution and application are analyzed andsummed up. Learners’ understanding of one-variable quadratic inequality and general situation of theteachersteaching are furtherinvestigated and realized by interview.Based on the results, combining with the design theory of effective teaching and mathematicseffective teaching theory, according to teaching requirements and suggestions of the curriculumstandards, to project the relatively effective teaching design of one-variable quadratic inequality’ssolution. It’s result is the relatively effective teaching design of one-variable quadratic inequality’ssolution,and some advicesof the related teaching implementation.
