Moral education is the fundamental task of education.Moral education has been placed in a very important position and has been increasingly concerned by more and more researchers.Moral education should not only be carried out through special courses or lectures,such as ideology,morality,politics,etc.,but also permeate into the teaching of various subjects.Therefore,moral education is also the fundamental task of mathematics education.New curriculum reform puts forward new requirements to the infiltration of moral education in the subject,and throughout the contemporary study of the current situation of primary and secondary school mathematics moral education,we can find that mathematics as a rational,abstract subject,in many cases,the value of its moral education has not been well implemented in classroom teaching.Therefore,fully excavating mathematics moral education value and thinking about how to realize the teaching of it is revelatory.This study takes the teaching research of "Simple Geometry" in chapter 11 of new mathematics textbook of high school in Shanghai as an example,and tries to provide some reference value for the teaching practice of mathematics moral education.The main content of this paper is divided into three stages: first,the construction of mathematics moral education’s analysis framework,analyze the selected chapter of the new textbook,extract available mathematical moral education resources;Second,the moral education resources collected through text analysis are provided to teachers for teaching design,and the teacher’s teaching process is observed,focusing on how teacher present these moral education resources.Thirdly,through questionnaire survey and interview,investigate the changes of students’ mathematical beliefs and attitudes of learning mathematics before and after the teacher’s teaching.Based on above all,the following three key research problems are determined to be solved in this study:(1)What moral education resources can be used in the new mathematics textbook in high school of Shanghai(taking Chapter 11 ‘Simple Geometry’ as an example)?(2)How do teacher make use of these moral education resources and integrate them into practical teaching?(3)What are the changes in students’ mathematical beliefs and attitudes before and after teachers’ teaching?In the part of text analysis,the framework for analysis of mathematics moral education divides it into four dimensions: rationality,emotion,belief and quality.The results show that:(1)there are abundant mathematical moral education resources in the textbook,involving all four dimensions,which reflects the implementation of the concept of moral education;(2)When the teacher makes use of these available moral education resources for teaching design,this teacher will consult additional materials according to the materials provided in textbook,especially the supplement of mathematical historical materials,which is a good perspective for the implementation of moral education in mathematics teaching;(3)Before and after teacher’s teaching,students’ mathematical beliefs and learning attitudes do not change significantly,but most students have a clearer understanding of mathematical moral education,and their confidence and interest in learning mathematics have been enhanced to some extent.Based on above research conclusions,this paper hopes to provide some teaching enlightenment and textbook’s compilation enlightenment for the research of moral education of senior high school mathematics teaching,wishing to be helpful for the research and teaching practice of moral education of high school mathematics.
