The purpose of graduate education is to cultivate students' independent exploration and research ability.As the core quality of postgraduates,the ability of scientific research innovation can not only effectively measure the quality of postgraduates,but also contribute to the construction of an innovative country in China.Menttors as an important force in graduate training,graduate students improve their scientific research and innovation level through the help of tutors and a series of ability training such as thinking ability and logic ability.Therefore,this paper discusses the influence of mentor guidance on graduate students' scientific research innovation ability,which is of certain significance for perfecting mentor guidance,improving graduate students' scientific research innovation ability and training innovative talents.Based on self-determination theory and multiple intelligence theory as the theoretical basis,using the method of literature research,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis,by way of questionnaire to investigate the academic graduate student.And then with the help of SPSS26.0 software,by describing the statistics and analysis of variance,analysis of teacher guidance and the status quo of academic scientific research innovation ability of postgraduate.Through variance analysis and correlation analysis,this paper analyzes the influence of tutor's guidance on academic postgraduate's scientific research innovation ability from five aspects.This paper draws the following conclusions:(1)There are too many graduate students under the guidance of tutors;Some tutors fail to esure the appropriate frequency of instruction;The frequency of face-to-face communication between tutors and graduate students is reduced and the communication modes are diversified.The content of instruction focuses on academic guidance,ignoring career development and psychological guidance;The guiding style is mainly composed of guiding styles.(2)In terms of research innovation ability of graduate students,the research innovation ability of academic postgraduate students is in the middle level,and the output effect of research innovation results is not good,and there is still room for improvement.There are significant differences in the scientific research and innovation ability of different genders,different disciplines,different grades and different school types.(3)As a whole,mentor guidance has a positive impact on the scientific research innovation ability of academic postgraduate students: the appropriate number of mentor guidance,the frequency of mentor guidance,the way of mentor guidance,the content of mentor guidance and the combined style of mentor guidance have a positive impact on the scientific research innovation ability of academic postgraduate students.According to the research results,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to optimize the guidance of tutors from the level of postgraduate training units and tutors,so as to promote the improvement of scientific research innovation ability of academic postgraduate students.First of all,graduate training units should improve the relevant system to strengthen the construction of the tutor team.Secondly,the tutor's individual guidance should be strengthened to improve the guidance effect.
