Harvard University professor Huang Wansheng pointed out that from the national level academic is the foundation of a national system, the ideology supporter of the national structure and the basic system and the root of the nationality.Innovation is the soul of academic, is the inherent requirement and the motive force of the development of academic research. Postgraduate education is the top of the higher education, the main way to cultivate high-level innovative talents,and the most important part of the national innovation system. Innovation is an important mission of graduate education, it is urgent to improve the quality of graduate education, and the inherent requirement of the realization of self-worth. "The Ministry of Education, the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance on Deepening the Reform of Graduate Education Views"(2013) points out that, it should improve the academic degree training mode that aimed at improving postgraduate’s academic innovation ability, strengthening cultivation of innovation ability, and improve the ability.Postgraduate’s academic innovation ability is the theme of the study. Using both qualitative and quantitative research methods,pointing out the current status of the a c a d e m i c i n n o v a t i o n a b i l i t y o f p o s t g r a d u a t e s t u d e n t s, a n a l y z i n g t h e influence factors, putting forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the innovation ability.In this paper, through the analysis of the innovation of the dissertation and academic papers, and points out that the current lack of academic innovation ability of students. Through the Delphi analysis, the main factors influencing the innovative ability of Postgraduate academic include: learning initiative, accumulation of knowledge, opportunities for students to participate in academic training, scholarship and scientific research ability. The expand on postgraduate training process in H university. Through the analysts pointed out that graduate education at this stage have the problems as follow:graduate motive utilitarianism, learning initiatives is not strong, lack of knowledge, lack of research training opportunities, mentor academic level is not high and responsibility off. These factors severely restricted scientific innovation ability of students. Finally proposed that it should change the mode of instructors, establish appropriate elimination and punishment degree of graduate students to improve the learning interest and enthusiasm. Increase students after class to prepare task so as to improve the classroom efficiency to make students absorb knowledge.Institutionalization of postgraduate research opportunities, increase the chance of research training of graduate student. Reform teachers’ selection and promotion system enhance the level of teacher team Promote instructors diversification, continue to perfect the system of the steering group under the guidance of a mentor to make up for the problem of insufficient unit tutor’s guidance ability. Promote academic holiday system and improve the system of academic exchange to inspire teachers’ academic innovation ability. Promote academic holiday system, improve the system of academic exchange, inspire teacher’ academic innovation ability.Construction of academic innovation atmosphere, make the innovation to become scholars internal needs.
