| With the continuous reform and development of higher postgraduate,the Ministry of Education issued a notice to expand the enrollment scale of graduate students,making clear the plan to expand the enrollment of 89,000 graduate students in 2020,and the overall enrollment scale of graduate students will also break through one million,achieving a historic leap.The expansion of postgraduate enrollment is not only a temporary measure to relieve the employment pressure due to the pandemic,but also a need of national development strategy.In the national implementation of the strategy of "rejuvenating the country through science and technology",the national knowledge innovation project and training of high-quality innovative talents,it undertakes an important mission.With the continuous expansion of the number of graduate students,problems have gradually emerged,such as the lack of education and teaching resources in colleges and universities,the lack of qualified teachers and the need to improve the quality of graduate training,among which the most urgent problem is the quality of graduate students,and the ability of scientific research innovation is a key indicator to measure the quality of graduate students.Therefore,it is an urgent task to improve the research innovation ability of graduate students.In this context,on the basis of the previous studies of domestic and foreign scholars on scientific research innovation ability,it is found that most of them study from the perspective of students,less from the perspective of tutors,and the supportive tutoring style is the common tutoring style in colleges and universities.Therefore,based on the theory of internal motivation,this paper studies the influence of supportive tutoring style on postgraduate students’ scientific research innovation ability,the mediating role of learning investment and the moderating role of self-efficacy.Through the questionnaire survey,322 graduate students from different universities were investigated,and the relationship between the variables was tested by SPSS22.0 and AMOS23.0 software.The result shows: the supportive mentor guiding style has a significant positive influence on scientific research and innovation ability of graduate students and learning investment style and the supportive mentor guidance plays a role of intermediary between scientific research and innovation ability of postgraduate students and self-efficacy between supportive mentor guiding style and learning into the part of the role of regulating,the postgraduate student’s innovation ability of scientific research type with the support of mentor to guide investment style and learning,and under the joint effect of self-efficacy can maximize.The final results of this study verified the positive and significant effect of supportive mentor style on postgraduate students’ scientific research innovation ability,the mediating effect of learning engagement,and the partially moderating effect of self-efficacy.This study enriches the research on the guiding style of supportive tutors,and at the same time plays a supplementary role in the influence mechanism of graduate students’ scientific research innovation ability,and has a certain enlightening effect on improving the quality of graduate students in China. |
