Research On Case Work Intervention In Community Participation Of Physically Disabled Persons ——Take Community C In T City As An Example

There are a large number of people with disabilities in China,and physical disabilities are the most common and the largest proportion of disabled groups.Community is the basic field of the life of the physically disabled,and community participation is a good way to realize the socialization of the physically disabled.However,in real life,due to the obstacles and deformities of some organs of the body,the physically disabled make their psychology more sensitive and low self-esteem,strong self-esteem but lonely,and low self-efficacy.At present,most people tend to have prejudice against the disabled,resulting in some discrimination against this group in community and social life.These factors affect the community participation of the physically di sabled to a certain extent.Using Community C in City T as a benchmark,this st udy uses observation and interview methods to conduct field research in this community to understand the community participation status of the physically disabled group.Guided by the dominant perspective theory and social support theory,a physically disabled person was selected for the study using a casework approach.On the basis of the problem analysis and needs assessment,service objectives and plans were formulated,and targeted case intervention services were carried out in three stages,with a view to helping the client to enhance community participation.The intervention of case work not only improves the pessimistic and negative psychology of the physically disabled,but also helps them build a social support network,alleviates the factors restricting the particip ation of the physically disabled in the community,improves their own ability,and promotes the physically disabled to actively participate in the community life.It is found that casework can enhance the community participation ability of the physically disabled.The dominant perspective theory can help the physically disabled regain self-confidence;A sound social support network is a necessary condition for the physically disabled to participate in the community.
