With the increasing demand for innovative talents in society,it is difficult for students to adapt to the needs of society under traditional teaching methods.Therefore,project-based teaching has gradually become an important part of teaching research all over the world.Project-based teaching,an inquiry-based teaching approach,is conducive to the development of comprehensive capabilities and core competencies in junior high school students.In order to conduct a more systematic study on the integration of project-based teaching into mathematics instruction in junior high school,this research comprehensively uses educational experimental research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and statistical analysis method based on the analysis of existing literature.Thus,it verifies the effectiveness of the application of project-based teaching.The main research contents are as follows:First,under the guidance of the cognitive characteristics of junior high school students,the compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards and relevant theories,the project-based teaching model of junior high school mathematics is constructed.This teaching model can be divided into three stages: project planning,project implementation and project evaluation.The specific implementation process includes six stages: introduction of the project,independent learning,cooperative inquiry,work production,results exchange and summary evaluation.Second,with reference to the project-based teaching model in junior secondary school mathematics,this research has conducted teaching practice.Taking the chapter on "Adding and Subtracting Integers" in the first book of Year 7 Mathematics as an example,this research designed a project-based teaching case and developed a project planning sheet.Based on the educational experimental research method,the teaching practice is carried out by using the project-based teaching model in the experimental class and the regular teaching model in the control class.Third,the evaluation of the application effect of the project-based teaching model in junior high school mathematics.The results of the teaching experiment show that the project-based teaching model for junior high school mathematics constructed is feasible.To a certain extent,the results of the achievement test show that project-based teaching applied to junior high school mathematics can improve students' mathematics performance.Although there is no significant difference between the mathematics performance of the two classes,the mathematics performance of the experimental class improved significantly at the end of the teaching experiment.The results of the questionnaire show that project-based teaching can improve students' attitudes,interest and self-efficacy in mathematics.The integration of junior secondary mathematics with project-based teaching is an effective attempt to implement the curriculum standards.The innovation of this research lies in the construction and practice of project-based teaching model in junior high school mathematics,and the analysis of the effect of project-based teaching from multiple perspectives.Based on the results of the questionnaire and interviews,this research summarizes the influencing factors and practical suggestions for the implementation of project-based teaching.Only then can we provide some theoretical value and practical significance to the research of project-based teaching in mathematics.
